You are so right. I kept trying to see how small a dab could produce one lung full. Half a rice grain doesn't leave much residue which is another good indicator.

Great videos bro! I just got into dabs. Bought a peak pro and proxy. So far, pretty good. But to clear some doubt, 2 questions:
1. How do you know when the dab is done? Or how dark before its done?
2. Once you take a hit, do you do a deep inhale like with a joint and hold for several seconds?
Small dabs are awesome. Other than terps, I feel this is the main advantage over smoking. Quite hard to have a joint in the morning and be productive, but a small dab? Boom you’re vibing
I think my typical dab is about a grain and a half of rice. It seems to be the perfect amount at a time. If I need more I just do another dab. I have flooded my atomizer with other E rigs or dab pens, from using way too much. Back when I was first starting out with electric pieces. I had only dabbed for a month before buying a dab pen and 2mos for E rig. It was also my first time using any form of Cannabis and I was 45. I dove right into dabbing and skipped flower & carts.

Just got a Crossing Core 2.1 based on your e-rig video. Love it so far. I typically throw a chunk in the size of .5 to .75 of a piece of rice. Haven't bothered to weigh it out.

1 gram of rosin lasts me about a week, 4 hits a night (roughly 1 dab an hour). About 1/2 to 3/4 the size of the cotton swab on Q-tips, after 3-4 hrs I'm ready for bed! It's great

The .05 is seriously the best size/most efficient sized dab. I'd rather do a few of those spread out or even back to back rather than the quarter gram plus dabs.

I would rather take 4 super small dabs than one dab that’s too big cus then I look at it and I’m like damn I’m gonna regret that when I’m sober I better not… and then I’m like “fuckin let’s just send it” and then I regret it in the future so I just stick to hitting less than I think I should and then if I really need more I’ll get up and get it

My first ever dabs were taken out one of them big grenade nectar collectors with the fat straws. They were ridiculously massive and I died coughing for like 5 minutes after each. Nowadays I take normal sized scoops around the size of a small ball bearing (like for a skateboard)

i usually put about .05 to .075 in my regular proxy dabs. In my banger i’ll go up to about .1 to .15 just because i’ll usually use my rig when i want to sesh versus proxy for convenience dabs.

A friend of mine was having a decent sized dap, not giant but a decent size and not his first one. We were outside at night when he hit it. He took it pretty well considering what happens next. After he finished the hit, he held it as long as he could, which turned out to be only a few seconds. While doing this he was walking away coughing, and squatted down for a solid minuet. He came back blasted and sat down. The session continues... after about 5-10 mins, max 15 mins we look back to him after noticing his lack of conversation and he was totally kirked. Our 3rd friend in the group was like "Yo, wake him up" so I proceed to lightly kick his boot. Nothing... So I kicked a little bit harder, you would notice if you were still in this dimension. The 3rd friend comes over and is saying, the now passed out friends name. Nothing. He's like 98% gone at this point, fading in and out and speaking gibberish. when all of a sudden still mostly gone he tries to stand up. Almost immediately collapsing to the floor. Then that was it, he had complexly been knocked out. During the next 30 mins while he was fully asleep in what he later reported to be a crazy and amazing trip, we had to move him from the outside into the living room. He didn't wake up until the next morning. Where he was surprised and confused about what had happened. All ended well, so its a funny time to remember. This video made me think about it.

It’s a lot of trial and error, I have unintentionally wasted so much loading up way too much, when I first started. I am a medical patient and find dabbing for me is great for instant smack you in the face relief.

Basically you should find out how small a dab can be while still getting you high. Gotta stretch out that sweet concentrate as long as you can.

i been smoking weed for almost 40 years,, when i got into concentrates i started off with a puffco peak and still use it as my daily driver now.. i hit it at least 3-4 times a day and 1 gram oh bho lasts me a bit longer than 1 week, the puffco may be expensive but I feel like it has saved me money over the last 2 years because of its efficiency. i can get a couple cycles out of each dab most times as well
The other downside of big glob dabs is greening out. So yeah small hits go further-- double down after ghosting a dab and watch the rice grains take you down. Being patient with yourself is rewarding.
If it fits on your dab tool, your good. You might want to second think that if your scooping properly cured rosin out of a mason jar. That might be a tad bit too much. Maybe.
If you don't puke your first time. You're doing a FAT dab afterwards
Depends what concentrate I have. My nice cold cures I take like a grain of rice. Some live resin presses and cold cures I forgot to smoke and maybe bho I got cheap ill take pretty fat dabs like cover a good bit of the tip of the puffco dab tool.
I like dab pens cuz u can just change the temp really low for a longer hit or turn it to 3V for a medium hit

But yeah 20 dabs out of a gram sounds about my average, I smoke about an 1/8 of rosin a week. But I’m using medically for Lyme disease. Before I got sick it was more like a gram a week.
Nothing beats hitting a decent dab on the slurper at that perfect temp so that thin film just wipes off after with no puddles.

I put the tiny ones in my Puffco Peak OG and I love it. I own two OG'smone to hit and one to charge. But once in awhile, I get guilty at not using my silly expensive dab rig with a banger that cost as much as a car payment. So I load a quarter gram and hit it just a li'l bit bit hot, just for old times sake except now it rosin and not BHO shitty shatter. Nuts. Just nuts.

When i first starting getting into dabs, id watch those 1g dab videos. And immediately realized how much they were wasting. And have only done smaller dabs, i think the most ive done at once was like .1 lol

My biggest dab was a 26 second inhale(yes i cleared it) with like 4 or 5 second exhale. Didnt cough, until about 30 seconds later and then well it was more dying than it was coughing. 10/10 would do it again.
You need an Erig. My draws are like 2/3 batches of 30 second hits with one small dab.

I tend to stick to smaller dabs just cause i hate accidentally doing one thats too big and seeing a puddle bubbling in there and have to reheat and it just tastes burnt and nasty lol at least in my personal experience!

Been taking smaller dabs since I picked up an Orbit atomizer, threw it on a mod and remembered why Quartz is King. Dabbing raw HHC+CBN disty though, so roughly the size of a plastic BB.

Love goin in efficient with the TSV perfectly heated quartz dabs and it’s always between a .1-.3 dab, bigger is a waste in my slurper setup, smaller is kinda a waste of time for me and the slurper almost burns too small of a dab, going in between 480 and 520 depending on dab size. TSV is soooooo tasty every hit perfect temp even heated banger

Hey Cewpins, Question, is there any reasoning why i feel one big snap on a bong rip hits me harder than two slightly smaller rips without any snap? is it the snap or ‘sinking my cone’ that gives a stronger punch?
You are inhaling deeper and harder if you are snapping. I never used to snap bowls until I moved to Canada and found out that’s the only way they hit bowls.

i fucked up big and gave this dude his first dab ever and it was a very small dab i even thought for somebody with a low tolerance. He hit it threw a turp slurper (think i gave it to him a bit hot) and he was so uncomfortably high he was sick and fell asleep laying over my trashcan. I'd say the dab was way less than a .1 but I still found out, you really don't need much. Well he found out the hard way

I usually go through about 1 gram of wax every 5 days or so.
.2-.3 is best. Then it won't burn with a reheat having too much. I rather take more smaller dabs, then a .5 drop. Waste, and the taste of being burnt is just not justifiable.
There is a Old saying ? Less is MORE.... And it Stands The Test of Time....There is no point in Big Globbing on a regular....Your just gonna get a literal HIGH Tolerance and your gonna Lose The Magic as you'll have to spend more and more to get the same High for Far Less....Then you will be pushed into a corner?You either keep on Globbing and having to spend more and more?OR? You'll have to go cold turkey for awhile until your tolerance goes Down...Which isn't very Fun especially when your so far gone....
All you need really is just that?A small DAB....I've been smoking weed for 40 years and dabs a couple of years.I learned the Hard way and Learned through Trial and Error and many times had to go cold turkey just to get the tolerance down to a sustainable level.With that I've gotten my levels down to the point? A gram of shatter will last me 2 weeks and I get stupid high every day and I live in a state where I can get 11$ dollar a gram could easily glob it every day....But it's unnecessary and a waste.....If you need to smoke more then a gram a week?Your tolerance is way to HIGH take a long enough Break ?and you will be amazed How little you really actually need and spend....And LEARN?LESS?
