Or there was the old sugar plantation we played around, and we would climb into the big old vats that were left behind, and walk them around like giant hamster wheels. Or the various caves dotting the forest, that we'd turn into hideouts. Not caves in rock walls, mind you. These are Florida caves, meaning they are holes on the ground, that lead deep into the Earth. You drop down into them like Mario into a pipe. They're full of whiptail spiders and cave crickets. As you go deeper into them, you eventually wind up IN THE AQUIFER, standing in water that hasn't seen daylight in hundreds or even thousands of years. Basically, we did dumb stuff back in the 80's. Great, now we have a buncha of idiots who society just robbed of all opportunities. Now 5 or 10 years down the line, when they cant get a decent job, Im gonna have to deal with them mucking up my society cause they’ll be stuck in a cycle of violence & ignorance. & tbh, I would blame them more if the system wasnt so hellbent on turning them into monsters from the start. So I blame society, & people like you & the cops, for when they inevitably commit a wayyy more violent crime as an act of desperation down the line cause they cant afford to feed themselves or keep themselves warm in winter. Just remember, little ants, we have no choice but to learn from history, or we’re doomed to die repeat deaths of our ancestors.
In addition to what you said, ding dong ditch is also not as bad as this because if someone rings your doorbell, you don't automatically think someone is breaking in (especially since was more done in the afternoon); whereas someone aggressively kicking your door is much more scary (especially since they also seem to do it at night).
Whenever I hear "new tiktok challenge" I just ask "what crime does this one involve" smh kids really are dumb these days. I grew up playing Ding Dong Ditch too. We annoyed a few people but never hurt anyone or did anything that seriously affected them.
It's all these narcissistic egos being pumped into the children from social media because their parents aren't willing to parent them so they just stick them on devices all day so that the scumbags on TikTok can raise your kids and show them what's really important in life not being a good person but trying to pump yourself up as much as possible

Who you recall a time when the term "challenge" referred to a test of knowledge or skill? These days, it is for social media crimes, pranks, and dances.
My dad had this happen a few months ago. He didn’t have cameras and I was late evening and dark out so he had a gun trained on the door from the kitchen, waiting for for the door to break down to open. It shook the living room so bad some pictures came off the walls. He was going to shoot the second it opened. Thankfully, the cops got there first and stopped the kids in the middle of it. It was a 12-year-old and his 17-year-old brother. They were charged in juvenile court but were let off with because the judge didn’t want to have them start their adult lives with convictions on their records.
im not saying you should beat your kid, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and the belts coming off, the faster they learn consequences exist when you live in a society because the butt whoopin will be the least of their problems when they realize theyre going to jail
What? The parents of any kids participating in this kind of behavior are the reason their kids are participating in this sort of behavior...... If they had the wherewithal to be concerned they would have done a better job parenting in the first place.
And yes, I'm aware parenting isn't easy. Something being hard however, doesn't mean you don't suck at it. The difficulty of a task does not add a qualifier to how good or bad you are at actually performing it . . (Just cause it's hard doesn't mean you're good at it, doesn't mean you don't suck at it)
A silver lining is people will maybe start thinking about reinforcing their front doors. It’s unbelievably easy to kick in a front door with the standard kit most houses have
This challenge pisses me off. Last year someone broke into my flat, since I work nights, I came home with a smashed door, luckily beside my echo dot (for some reason) nothing was taken but for weeks I felt unsafe in my own home, being paranoid and refusing to go to work just in case it happened again. Now I've installed a ring doorbell, have motion lights and a door alarm which made me feel safer to go back to work and go out.
The fact that nothing was missing means it was probably the cops having raided the wrong apartment and after realizing the mistake they are covering it up. It happens all the time
I'm sorry that happened to you. It has to be difficult just knowing that someone else intruded on what should be everyone's safe place. I'm glad you got some cameras and alarms.

Pro-tip, put longer screws in your door strike plate and hinges. Screws drilled into the frame make it extremely difficult for a person to kick in the door.
Actual pro tip from a door installer: go buy something called a countersink, they're about 20$ then countersink pilot holes for the screwheads to sink into...or else your door will be wonky, when the hinges don't sit flat. better protip for securing your door. get headlock brand screws, and countersink them with a forstner bit. regular screws are an improvement but they arent made for lateral shear strength. they are made to pull things down if you put 3 headlocks into each side of your doorjambs, the jamb wont move. however, the lock throw will still just blow through the wood. install a steel plate for the lock throw to insert into, and keep the jamb from splintering, and then it will resist some serious attacks.
@@apokatastasian2831 Also make sure the screws are full thread you don’t want a shank. Remember the weakest part is where the strike is any screws used you want to anchor into the studs not just the door frame. As an autistic person with severe anxiety, my worst fears have always been having my home threatened, being recorded in public without my knowledge, and public tragedies or threats of public tragedies. It's to the point where when i go out its all i can ever think about. The fact that we live in a world where those all can be done as a "joke" makes me scared at even the prospect of going anywhere.
I hate to break it to you, but you're constantly being recorded in public. It's called CCTV. See, as far as US Law goes, you do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in any public space. Even a private citizen may record in public, without having to ask permission, because there is no expectation of privacy in public spaces. As long as the photos or videos taken are not used for capital gain (making money), they do not have to ask permission to photograph or video record you. If you leave your house, know that you are being recorded.
@@SkunkApe407 I hate to break it to you, but as someone with a similar phobia, we are already well aware of that. The fact is that people who make such videos make it more likely for a random unsuspecting person to end up all over the face of the internet, and possibly in an unflattering way. And perhaps you could not comprehend it, but that wasn't even the point of the original comment. No one here was implying that people shouldn't legally be allowed to record in public spaces. And, see, knowing the law does not just suddenly cure someone of a phobia. Next time, practice empathy and do a little more critical thinking before you comment.
Hate that for you. It helps to remind yourself that largely the people who you pass out and about just want to get their errands ran and make it home unscathed, just like you. Ignore the public cams and steer clear of commotion. I'm sure you already do, but when things get hectic you overload. It's cool. Find 3 things to keep you grounded, something you can see, something you can feel, something you can hear. You're gonna be OK 😊

Now “challenges” have been 1-upped so many times the only “challenge” left is trying to film yourself commit a crime and somehow not get caught… they aren’t even funny to watch. At least with the cinnamon crap you got to laugh at somebody being forced to cough it out because they’re an idiot. Now it’s just sadness and misdemeanors.

Pro-tip, put longer screws in your door strike plate and hinges. Screws drilled into the frame make it extremely difficult for a person to kick in the door.
Actual pro tip from a door installer: go buy something called a countersink, they're about 20$
then countersink pilot holes for the screwheads to sink into...or else your door will be wonky, when the hinges don't sit flat.
better protip for securing your door. get headlock brand screws, and countersink them with a forstner bit.
regular screws are an improvement but they arent made for lateral shear strength. they are made to pull things down
if you put 3 headlocks into each side of your doorjambs, the jamb wont move. however, the lock throw will still just blow through the wood. install a steel plate for the lock throw to insert into, and keep the jamb from splintering, and then it will resist some serious attacks.

She was fairly new, so I don't know if THEY knew that. They haven't been back at hers, but I know they're going round other houses now that it's out in the open. They're at least avoiding a house in the area of a woman that has openly been suffering from the repercussion of uncontrolled neighbourhood kids going B&E crazy and homicidal to her pets last year, at least. Only upside was that apparently my cat had been sending her into a panic by trying to gift her husband rum cans and shifting around their shoes; now she knows that it isn't ADULTS doing it, and that my cat loves them apparently.

Guys. . .you're not supposed to kick the actual door. You're supposed to ACT like you're kicking the door to the best of the song 😐
Tiktok needs to be illegal in the U.S. It's making people into compassionless sociopaths.
Exactly as China designed it to be.
I would argue that compassionless sociopaths are attracted to Tiktok. Not made on it.
@@realeyesrealizereallies1194shittok should be banned regardless
@@realeyesrealizereallies1194the fact that you still can’t agree that TikTok needs to be banned is the problem.
TikTok ain't the problem. Stupidity and entitlement is the problem.
They need the TikTok kicked out of 'em.
Yep, this happens to me about 5 times a month it’s actually so frustrating and annoying have to deal with. They have literally broke my balcony gate and kicked my door off the hinges. It is ridiculous.
Man, people have been getting shot for just knocking on doors, and now people are put here committing property damage. 💀
Are kids these days really this ignorant of the world around them?
They think "trending" is cool.
These degenerates will do anything for clout just like Johnny Somali
It's because of bad parenting
@@villager736 Totally. With all the deadbeat 'dads' hanging around with their bro friends playing games in someones grandparents basement and comparing their mall ninja swords, how would you expect them to be parents?
I like the challenges that was done before like the fire challenge where they light themselves on fire. Or the infamous tide pod challenge.
I mean at least then it was just the idiots getting hurt.
The Tide Pod challenge, while still stupid, got a lot of hate for silly reasons. Where's all the outrage now? Now the kids are kicking in doors. Where's the national coverage of this? Why am I just hearing about this from a commentary channel on YT when the Tide Pod challenge was on every news network for weeks!
@@CassandraY Same with the birdbox challenge back in 2018.
@@vibrantgleam I completely forgot about that one! Feels like a lifetime ago...
Bro I love your channel but I gotta say everytime I watch your videos I can’t believe the lookalike with the Boys Like Girls singer in 2006. Even the voice is spot on 😂 keep the channel up 🙌🏻
I'm calling the next challenge. Find your local billionaire then
i feel like somewhere along the ay, people forgot what words mean.
These are not Challenges, they are idiot trends.
They are not Pranks, they are bullying , stalking and harassment.
it needs to stop
Ban TikTok and the other platforms (except maybe Kick) will quickly stomp out this behavior because they’re more strict.
TikTok needs to clamp down on this stupid shit before they can become “trends”
I lost it at the college kids 💀💀
I thought tiktok was going to ban these "challenges/trends" off their platform
I guess we were going to see the CEO of the US branch being called ONCE again to Congress to talk about why
these "challenges" back on their platform and NOT deleting it or banning people videotaping themselves doing it
At this point Banning Tiktok is outright MANDATORY. Because they absolutely REFUSE to moderate their site better and suppress these videos.
And before some big brained idiot comments. NO! It’s NOT just the person that started it at this point. TikTok has facilitated too many of these “trends” to not be culpable in them.
What hasn't someone sued TikTok for promoting criminal behavior?
Because it's operated and monitored by the CCP.
Owned by the ccp
