Wow!!! After a few days of having our ICare I have to say it is in fact a game changer! It's so interesting to see how PH affects sanitizer effectiveness. I noticed if my PH goes up past 7.8 , the OPR drops like a brick to less than 100. In the past, I would add more chlorine or press boost on my salt system even though Im at 1-3 PPM. Now I just bring my PH down to 7.3 and my OPR jumps up to over 600 without adding any chlorine. I also called ICO corporate office in Europe and they said if you have any additional sanitizing assistance like an ozonator, UV, enzymes or a Nature 2 Mineral stick, then the OPR should be set to a low of 500 and high of 650...that's awesome.. my OPR stays at over 500 with about 1 ppm of chlorine so long as the PH is in check. That's great on our skin, lungs, salt generator, and spa plumbing because chlorine is a corrosive substance. Now we are confident that we have proper sanitation at a low chlorine level!
