Hmm..I live near Toronto and the income brackets here and Vancouver start at 5 and 6 %. Toronto house prices are higher but not necessarily the city will assess the value the same as the sale price so property taxes can be the same. Auto Insurance is abt the same and I live in a high assessed city. The only diffrence between TO, VCR and AB is no probincial tax otherwise the rest seems the same or even pricier in AB.
