      This is not the right way to polish a floor , basically, he just grinded and sealed , the shine he has on that floor is thanks to the seal , basically what he did is add wax to make the surface shine . This is not polished concrete , polished concrete is going for 7 to 9 dollars per square feet, where you go in the concrete with several steps with diamonds with 50 grit , 100 grit , 200 grit , 400 grit , 800 grit , 1800 , and some cases 3000 grit . Depending on how bad your floor is, you might have to use full metal diamonds to make sure the base is done right . Becareful. Do your research.

    That’s a wax n buff. Cheap and won’t even hold up to standing rain water

      Like ice

      Polished concrete can get slick with water and snow/ice. More so with snow/ice. The higher the polish, more slip resistant(to an extent). I’m in the Midwest, I do not sell polished garage floors because of the dangers of slipping in winter months.

    In NO WAY shape or form is that Polished Concrete Flooring - that is a burnished concrete floor. Polished Concrete is completely flat, no divots, pinholes, or scratches. That finished floor has more waves than my local body of water on a windy day and will fail every single architectural spec'd polished concrete job "post inspection" anywhere in the country.
    I sure hope this isn't a SmartKrete sponsored video.

      A lot has to do with the slab of concrete you are working on

    • @andrewhansen877

      Couldn’t agree more. The only slabs I’ve worked on that didn’t need a lot of prep were cream polishes.

      That’s a wax and buff job. Way different and less quality than a mechanically diamond polished floor.

    how do you get the corners?

    • @Rudy97
      @Rudy97 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      You have to get a square wheel for the corners.

    Would have been nice to see the overall finished result. All we saw was small little reflective spots showing the reflected cabinets and the walls.
    Guess I'll keep looking for another better product with hopefully a much better video and "significantly" less labor-intensive process.
