    That is absolutely not polishing concrete that’s densifyng and sealing but not polishing to polish yo need to grind the floor ten times

      Twister Diamond Pad system is designed to grind concrete surfaces down then to polish them back up using the multi pad system.

      You can overlap half the width of the pad as you move onto to the next section.

    There are products out there that are used in the Concrete pouring business that will ensure the Pad is clean. OR, ir you mix a solution with 30% vinegar, it will ensure you get all of the Portland (Cement) out of the pad. IT will not harm the pad.

    Hi Utra chem. I wanna ask something. Was the floor polished beforehand? then the video process for maintenance? or that process for the new floor?

    • @UltraChemLabs
      @UltraChemLabs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! This process is for concrete floors that require refurbishing/polishing. The floor used in this video has had heavy traffic and zero maintenance for 10+ years. If you have already done a deep polishing starting with the red all the way to the green and maintenance is your goal, you can achieve this by using just the process for the yellow and green pad there after. I hope this helps!

    What a great video! I wish we had found it months ago. We have been grinding and polishing the floor of a large closet and bedroom and these pads are exactly what we needed. And your step by step is perfect! Our bedroom floor is almost complete after almost 6 months of trial, error and research. All of a sudden we searched the right term earlier this week and your video popped up and it was exactly what we needed. Thank you!

    I just had a new concrete floor poured two weeks ago. It was power troweled and is flat and smooth but it's a little dull in appearance. Can I follow your steps using the diamond embedded pads to polish the floor up or would it have to be polished by diamond grinding?

    Do you have to seal the floor after this process? We are refinishing concrete inside our home.

    • @UltraChemLabs
      @UltraChemLabs  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      belinda cleaves it is not totally necessary but if you desire to preserve the polished concrete and avoid the process of polishing again, our concrete sealer is recommended as a topical finish. 1-2 coats can be applied, and dries clear in a total of 30-45 minutes. This way, any ware will only effect the top coat and not the concrete itself. It is recommended to scrub and recoat the sealer once a year to maintain aesthetic appeal and optimal protection of the concrete. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Great video, how much deep can I go with the red Pad (my concrete floor of my patio has pores? and if I want a semi gloss finish or not glossy but yes very smooth what I should do?

    • @UltraChemLabs
      @UltraChemLabs  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Blue Matrix this polishing method is designed for indoor surface concrete. Therefore if your patio concrete is rough likened to a drive surface you will need a stronger grit to polish it up. However if it is smooth to the touch this method will work fine starting with the red and working your way up to bring up the polish and shine. For a semi gloss I would recommend our Ultra Sealer. You find more information on our sealer at ULTRACHEMLABS.com > products > floor care and pads > sealer. Thanks for watching and let us know if we can assist you further.

    first off the pads should be washed in a pad washer or use a wet dry vac to clean them. the other things to note is ne ve polish a floor that is used for ork lifts it can make them slip. also you are not told that every day the floor requires washing to main tain.

    Can I use the red pad on fresh concrete to expose the aggregate, then let the concrete cure (28 days), apply densifier then complete the polishing with pad 2 and 3?

    • @UltraChemLabs
      @UltraChemLabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have the time to follow this process Yes that won’t be an issue, it is encouraged to apply a densifier after applying 400 grit polishing. Just be sure to clean the cured surface prior to applying densifier and to allow ample time for the densifier to dry and cure before applying the rest of the pads. I hope this helps!

    Hi. Recommend any videos on how to clean a concrete floor. Nothing crazy just a light clean

    • @UltraChemLabs
      @UltraChemLabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We don’t have any recommendations specifically. But we usually like to apply maintenance with a 3000 grit pad. For daily cleaning you can always go over the concrete with a red pad auto scrubber and 1 oz of our cleaner and conditioner to 1 gallon of water.

  • @TimKollat

    "polished concrete creates a lot of dust in its every day use from wear" oh really? And I guarantee that nobody is able to get a gloss reading in the 70s just by using 3 twister pads on a floor that has not been polished before. You'll be lucky to hit in the 40s to low 50s unless you're slopping on a bunch of guard product and burnishing it.
