I am 65 y/o kid..played synth alot when I was younger... getting back into it..just got a polybrute and want a more piano oriented synth/ keyboard for my next toy....this baby is definitely in the top 3.. Love your videos...
As italian keyboardist, I proudly always appreciated any Fatar stuff, like on some Roland Italy or Korg machines....and tenth of other professional keyboards! and this Numa Is so fine! FACTORY VISIT PLEASE! 😂😂😂 GRAZIE
I would totally dig a Fatar factory visit. And please show us a bit around Recanati and the Marche too, if you can. And maybe visit Castelfidardo as well? Also it would be fabulous if you don't overdub any Italian spoken but use subtitles.
…in all seriousness, I bought this the moment it became available in my area and absolutely love it. The sounds are quite serviceable, the onboard mixer is surprisingly useful, especially when paired with the quality effects, the additional sounds available from Studiologic are nice, and when connected with my Dexibell SX8 (another wonderful handmade-in-Italy product!), I have the best sounding pianos available outside of the real thing!
I thought exactly the same when it came out and pre-ordered it immediately. It was impossible to get in the US - after waiting several months I ended up canceling my order and ordering it from the UK and had it within a week. Even with the shipping and import duty it still was cheaper anyway 😂
I am such a dolt. The whole point of me posting here was to rave about the key action on the Numa X GT! This is exactly why I have this with the SX8 rather than the S7 Pro or forthcoming S8. I _do not_ understand why Dexibell don’t use the TP-400WEs that Studiologic have used here on the GT! Unless it’s some trade agreement between Fatar, Proel, Studiologic, Dexibell, and who knows. (As an aside, the TP-400WEs _is_ available on Dexibell’s H-10 series home pianos, just not on their S-series stage pianos. 🙁) In any case, the key action on the Numa X GT is _phenomenal_ ! To my fingers, _much_ better than Roland’s PHA-4/PHA-50, better than Korg’s RH3, and at least on par with Kawai/Nord’s RH III. In addition to being _very_ pianistic, it is also much more portable than the RH III or PHA-50. I don’t know how Fatar managed to get the feel of a long-throw key, with such good weight, balance, escapement, triple sensors, _and_ aftertouch (!!!) all in one keyboard offering, but the Numa X GT has it!

Owner of a numaXPiano gt here for months now. Definitely love the key feel, just superb! And i totally agree with everything you said (the appreciation) especially on their EPs. With the insert fx, my god! There's something to the vintage piano and upright too, they're just so natural sounding. LASTLY, partnering that beast with an amazing midi samples will make it even better. Just wish they have a feature where I can simply type the number/name of the sound for quicker and more precise dialing in addition to tha dial wheel. FACTORY VISIT PLEASE!

Trying to compare this to my Nord Stage 3. What I do appreciate about Nord is that not all of the pianos are perfect in tone as a piano may be in tune but the strings for each key gives it character and not this perfect note that sounds like one string. I do like the brightness but sometimes it can sound like a keyboard. I’m on the fence. Too soon to say but I’m interested.

Intuitive exploration is not always simple to get quickly the best result, but so amazing to feel that you create your own souds. your demonstration is really good to make new addicts of Numa Piano. hope you’ll visit the factoty. After one year of use some keys become noisy on mine. Really a goog piano for the price. Best regards from New Caledonia.

I had the 73 key one, it is a very well built instrument and very easy to use. but it has a big flaw. It is a closed system that does not accept samples and you are obliged to use only the samples that Studiologic offers you. It has some good sounds but not all.
It would be interesting and cool to visit their factory, Dr. Mix. I admire your enthusiasm and passion for synths and other keyboards. Fatar keybeds are ok, the C15 keybed is excellent, but imo Kawai is far superior. Maybe one day you’ll audition the MP11SE. But… in the hands of a maestro, all bets are off. Bravo Claudio.

Dear Doctor, dear fellow GT owners, did you test the presets p040 - sunra, p062 - bigband clust1 and p063 - bigband clust2 ? What do you make of it? Some parts have transpose active, some don't, but all are spread over the keyboard. I do not see any scenario, how to use it. Do you? What is the intention of Studiologic behind that?
I have the Numa 2X which definitely isn't as nice as this but I have to say, their electric pianos and mellotron packs are really great for what you pay for. The build quality on the Numa 2X is plastic but its only 17lbs and the keybed is nice with waterfall action for its organ section. To call it "the poor man's Nord" is accurate but as a stage player it gets you there for a fraction of the price at about 1000$ CND
Factory visit definitely...! I have an old StudioLogic SL990 controller keyboard, which comes with one of the older Fatar actions. A lot of people seem to slate the Fatar actions - but I really like mine. I'd love to know how this wooden TP-400 compares to the action in my keyboard. Love the demo!!

The build quality on the Numa 2X is plastic but its only 17lbs and the keybed is nice with waterfall action for its organ section. To call it "the poor man's Nord" is accurate but as a stage player it gets you there for a fraction of the price at about 1000$ CND

Factory visit definitely...! I have an old StudioLogic SL990 controller keyboard, which comes with one of the older Fatar actions. A lot of people seem to slate the Fatar actions - but I really like mine. I'd love to know how this wooden TP-400 compares to the action in my keyboard. Love the demo!!
