Besan ke Laddu is a traditional Indian sweet that is made in almost every household. It takes hours to roast the besan to make Besan ke Laddu & Besan ki Barfi. Further to make the besan barfi, you need to cook the sugar syrup to the right consistency too. But here is a recipe that shows you how you can make besan ke laddu & besan ki barfi in just 10 minutes that too without roasting the besan! Yes, all you need is some roasted gram that needs to be grinded to a fine powder to make the Besan ke laddu & Besan ki barfi. Recipe :
Besan ke Laddu
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
250g Roasted gram (without skin)
150g Desi Ghee
250g Powdered sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
Grind the roasted gram to a fine powder. Pass through a sieve to get a fine powder.
Melt the ghee in a pan. add the roasted chana powder. Mix well. Remove from heat. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. Add cardamom powder and mix. Make lemon sized balls of the mixture. Allow to rest for a while for the ghee to set. Serve.
Besan ki Barfi
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:

250g Roasted gram (without skin)
150g Desi Ghee
250g Powdered sugar
1 tbsp pistachio slivers
Method:
Grind the roasted gram to a fine powder. Pass through a sieve to get a fine powder.
Melt the ghee in a pan. Add the roasted chana powder. Mix well. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. Cook till the sugar melts and the dough starts coming together.
Remove from heat and pour in a greased thali. Flatten the barfi. Garnish with pistachio slivers. Allow to set completely. Cut into pieces and serve.

This roasted gram laddoo is called sattu ka laddu...our grandmother used to make it...but the tasir of besan laddoo and sattu laddo is different...sattu is eaten in summers and besan in winters
