- Farigiraf with Charge Beam as its Item gets an almost guaranteed +6 in Special Attack when it uses Beat Up! Fortemons allows you to choose a move for your item slot, the rest of your moves will then get the secondary effect of the move in the Item slot, so Farigiraf has a 70% chance to get a Special Attack boost everytime it hits, and since Beat Up hits 6 times, its an almost guaranteed +6!

I was shocked on the first battle, Tyranitar with ancient power as an item bro that's the most insane thing, that it makes serene grace look bad. But that charge beam +beat up is off the chart genius thinking. Wow I respect ppl with such amazing ideas for this new meta. The only reason I used Twin Beam was for an extra multi hitting STAB move just incase we needed to KO, also its good for Sturdy Pokemon as well as people who may be running Sash because people still do run items in the format

Lots of people on the ladder of this gamemode are actually trying this set. So I think people are watching this video and trying to replicate.
But one thing I've been using that is simple but honestly somewhat effective is Drain Punch item, Tera Water Sharpness Gallade with Aqua Cutter as coverage and a move that receives STAB from Terastallize, alongside Agility. Honestly is incredibly scared of Freeze Dry Baxcaliber and of course Def stall mons like Dondozo, but when it gets 1 or two Agility boosts it just becomes a speedy boi whom with Sharpness power boost can just hurt while also healing itself if it does sustain damage. Certainly not a broken set but if it gets even a turn of setup it can end up becoming a bit of a threat.
You could try a dirty team around Toxic Spikes:
-Hex;
-Venoshock;
-Inferno (for Flying, Poison or Metal types);
-Nuzzle;
-Dynamic Punch.
Another annoying strat would be using multistrike + Ice Beam, its the same odds of Ancient Power hehehe
So, just to be clear, this is not part of the normal gameplay meta, right? For a moment, I got excited at the prospect of using Mister Giraffe in this manner in SV.

glimmora+hex pokemon is awesome team cleans up poison/steel type pokemon glimmora switches in on a physical attack and then hex pokemon (mostly dragapult) and sweeps with double powered attacks

Only contrary mon in game is lurantis atm and it just lost superpower this gen for some reason also it doesn’t get beat up but it can use bullet seed with leaf storm as item

In battle the moves are classified as mail and mail cannot be removed by any circumstance except for knock off but they coded that it can’t get knocked off either

It doesn't, it take the secondary effects of moves, agility is only the primary effect of boosting speed

What if your attacks could gain additional effects based on what attack is held in the item slot? Instead of holding an item, you can instead hold an attack, giving all of the attacks in your move-slots the primary and secondary effects of that held move. For instance: Braviary can hold Body Slam to give all of its attacks a 30% to paralyze, or you can run Sheer Force on Braviary with Air Slash as its held move, giving all of its other attacks such as Brave Bird, the Sheer Force boost.
Rules:
Mechanic:
An attack put into the item slot will grant its primary and secondary effects to all of the attacks in the move-slots. The regular attack maintains its base power, accuracy, typing, physical or special, and original primary and secondary effects. Status moves cannot be put into the Item-slot, nor will they grant any additional effects in Fortemons. The mechanic will only work with attacks.
For example: Holding Fire Punch grants the properties of being a punching move, makes contact, and has a 10% to burn. Sludge Bomb would be a 90BP Special Attack with a 30% to poison, categorized as a bullet move, and boosted by Sheer Force, as well as the aforementioned effects gained through Fire Punch.
Strategy:
The ability to stack secondary effects means that both offensive and defensive Pokemon alike have newfound synergy with their already existing move-sets. Defensive Pokemon can mitigate their passiveness by stacking effects that give them increased odds to fish for status or by increasing their damage output through DoTs or stat decreases. Conversely, offensive threats can further augment their ability to sweep and wallbreak by using moves that lower the opponents stats or by creating offensive synergy through abilities such as Sheer Force or Tough Claws. Some Pokemon might also like to retain their Items, which could create mind games as to what they could be holding in the Item-slot.
