Kai's Theme is based on Imagine Dragons's I'm So Sorry. Imagine Dragons is credited in the movie and Kai tracks since Hans Zimmer/Lorne Balfe used the melody of the song. It's simple yet so Epic and Powerful and it's one of my favorite villain themes!!!
I love how unstoppable and relentless Kai is, he isn’t a villain you can negotiate or talk to, he’s just a natural force, a hurricane that wants you dead.
Po basically thinks he's not ready to be a master ot and that he hasn't mastered chi. In the end, he accepts what it can be. At the end of the movie, he taught everyone how to use Chi
Tai Lung has the most badass fight scenes and insane physical strength Shen is the most evil, being the one that Po has to fight not only physically but mentally Kai… his theme just slaps so hard
He may not have been intimidating, but he had really great villain lines. When Shifu said "Oogway, forgive me." Kai held up the chi amulet of Oogway and said "What do you say, Oogway? Do you forgive him?" He also had the coolest fight style, weapons, and entrances. Also, the first two villains were chased by Po and the Furious Five. But Kai was the only villain who did the chasing. Instead of Po hunting him down, Kai would find Po and the others no matter where they ran. Po even said “There’s nowhere to run.” This made Kai felt very unstoppable, which was just as good as being intimidating.
Also, all three villains,.at their core, were the same as Po. They wanted to prove that THEY were the RIGHT choice. They wanted RESPECT from their role models. Tai wanted to prove he was the real Dragon Warrior and wanted Shifu's respect, not his pity or apology. Shen wanted to prove that he controlled his own fate and wanted the respect of his parents. Kai wanted to prove that his discipline was better than Oogway's and he wanted Oogway to respect.him. When those desires were denied or proved false, our villains fell fully into their roles.
“This one is a master who has studied martial arts throughout his entire life, and broke out of an inescapable prison.” “Badass” “This one here is a brutal, conniving warlord who uses technology and his wits.” “Cool, what about the third one?” “His theme song is a fucking banger.”
He’s a really tragic villain. He literally threw away his moral codes to save his friend (killing innocent people for protecting Oogway). What did that get him? Death at the hands of the one he wanted to protect.
Bro is spitting facts. Kai just wanted to protect Oogway. And Oogway killed him and threw away any memory of him. Kai is not a villain just a person who wants revenge for the person who threw away everything. Just like Po and Shen
@@guitarist2463 Actually Kai just wanted the power all for himself, like Tai Lung and Lord Shen he was stunned by the desire to control everybody and Oogway had to stop him
Kai's theme does not sound very evil but it really screams power, something that is unstoppable and it gives an intimidation that is different from fear, it's like what a character feel when facing off against a really powerfull opponent and feel the chills.
I think it this idea communicates something about kai thats different from the other villains. This time its not necessarily about whether or not po will beat him. Its about how. Kai is unique in the fact that he is an immortal soul brought back from the dead and thus cant simply be killed, forcing a more creative solution. He has a power no other kung fu panda villain possesses.
He's still one of the most powerful villains in movie history. He managed to wipe out a thousand year old country full of masters in the first few weeks of coming back from the spirit realm, where literal spacetime acts different.

I always felt it was because Kai doesn't have a connection to Po thw way thw others did. With Tai Long, it was the fact that he was the golden student who believed he deserved to be the dragon warrior. With Shen, it's pretty obvious as he's responsible for wiping out most of Po's people including his mother. Kai was just kinda there to steal Ki and who would have the greatest ki but the dragon warrior.

hes talking about the imagine dragons song named ''Im so sorry'' ( the music in the song was used for the making kai's theme and was also credited at the end of the movie)
I KNEW “I’m So Sorry” had something to do with Kai’s theme!! I listened to Kai’s theme and was like “this sounds so much like that one imagine dragons son” and now all the dots are connecting! Amazing
3:06 this is the part i remember from this theme
Fr
As soon as I heard Kai's theme song, I immediately thought it was "I'm So Sorry" I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I've Seen Kung Fu Panda 3 Years Ago And I Didn't Know That Kai's Theme Was I'm So Sorry Until I Listened To The Original Song By Imagine Dragons Recently.
I remember seeing the original song used in the movie and it was a banger, but this raises it to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL
Kai's primary weapons are chained blades!
I noticed that you added some chain link effects from time to time.
Awesome work!!
Kai is the most heroic villain , i have ever seen , but remember he always wasn't like this , his power is immense and appreciable. Probably this music made him more powerful and respectful
This is single handedly the most badass thing I've ever heard
he is like kratos with those two blades
His nicknme is literally Master of Vengeance lol
He is the beast of vengeance and maker of widows
Like Kratos but green version with spiritual power.
Yo Kai didn't lie when he said he'll wait for another 1000 years to defeat PO.. dude be looking PUMPED
2:21 I was not expecting that lmao
I'm so glad I've been able to listen to the growth in your creations, I've never left a comment before cause I don't usually, but your music gives me life and it inspires me, I'm just really proud to watch you grow as a musician. Please continue to do what you love!!
Bro, this version of Kai's theme is full of orchestral brutality 💀.
If Kai's theme was already epic, with this it is even more so, great work, without a doubt one of my favorite themes, belonging to one of my favorite villains in animated films, General Kai from Kung fu Panda 3 .
That strange 2:26 piece..
Wonderful composition, thanks a lot for creating it!
2:37 🔥🔥Fire
"If I stepped on you, would you die?"
Kai- 2016
Kai has got to be my favorite Kung Fu Panda villain. I mean, come on. He isn't jus a villain. He is an UNSTOPPABLE force of nature!
I must thank this man for helping me change my ringtone after 2 years.
Dang this epic version just hits different man like seriously I was just creating my own story and then suddenly at 0:33 in that bass of EPICNESS came out of nowhere and I was like "wait hold on lemme get back to yt and like this video" danggggg I was like just minding my own business listening to this epic version and the epic version just came bursting to my door and smacking a burger into my mouth and said "shut up and eat it" Honestly tho this is one of the best EPIC VERSION I have ever heard, great job man.
Gotta be one of my favorite Kung Fu Panda villains. J. K. Simmons did an amazing job voicing him.
Just imagine kai is coming back with this epic soundtrack in a post credit scene of upcoming Kung Fu Panda 4 movie 💀💀🔥
He's coming MORE STRONGER, MORE BRAVE, MORE FEARLESS Then before 😬🔥
Essa com certeza é uma das minhas trilhas favoritas em desenhos ✨♥️
yessssssirrrrrrrrrr
paçoca com beterraba
A musica base virou a minha musica favorita, mas jamais esqueço o quao épico é essa e a versao original do filme
Kim‘s music is just legendary
As usual, a masterpiece
I love the added touch at 2:22
I can’t wait to see how crazy you go with this theme my Brudah!
This shit hits harder than it has any right to and i freaking love you for that 👌👌👌
This is one of the best theme songs and one of the best movies ever to exist!!
2:15 my favorite part! Thank you for creating another masterpiece!
Kratos but hes a bull and has green blades
I remember listening to this song the first time. I felt like I was the strongest person alive.
When I heard those beats I thought as if walking towards the biggest throne in this world and The whole world is hailing my name behind me when I sit on that throne.
"Imagine Dragons" remixed with an Eastern flavor.
Redundancy? I think not. This is awesome!
Kai's theme is just so amazing and I'd love to see more remixes from you
And you, must be Kai! Beast of Vengeance, Maker of Widows.
*YES! FINALLY, THANK YOU. ALMOST MAKES ME WANNA SPARE YOUR LIFE*
@Uzumaki Naruto Dattebayo I'm gonna take your Chi, and then the Chi of *EVERY PANDA IN THE-*
@Uzumaki Naruto Dattebayo IN THE-
@Uzumaki Naruto Dattebayo >:(, **IN THE-**
@Uzumaki Naruto Dattebayo *OHH, YOU PUDGY LITTLE (GRUNT GRUNT)*
When they made Kai's theme, I already thought it was badass, but now it's become godlike with this remix
Kung fu panda 1: physical upgrade
Kung fu panda 2: mental upgrade
Kung fu panda 3: spiritual upgrade
Kung fu panda 1: one villain from shifu’s past
Kung fu panda 2: one villain from po’s past
Kung fu panda 3: one villain from oogway’s past
Kung fu panda is really one of the best and coolest animations ever made
kungfu panda 2 is a villian from oogway's past not po's
@@kennethbuwaneka6928 what are you talking about?
Kung fu panda 2 is lord shen the one who killed 50% percent of the pandas plus shen doesn’t even know about oogways existence
@@kennethbuwaneka6928 umm no!
@@CataBlast watch the movie? bruh
@@echostik mate what are you on, just do one little Google search. It’s not hard to check that. Literally the main plot point/character development in that movie
Kai's Theme is such a masterpiece that's the main reason why he's my fav villain from Kung Fu Panda
I feel powerful after listening to this masterpiece.
Can't wait to see a remastered Lord Shen theme!
"Im going to take the chi of every panda in the-"
" Chitty Chit Chat."
"In the-"
"Chit Chat!"
Kai have absolutely the best fighting entrance in all DreamWorks movies, he's just so stylish and overconfident too, making him probably the most fearless. He have no hesitation in taking actions, he's just like a tank driving through houses
The real final boss
I love this theme and I'm about to send this to friend
