This is exactly what the game needed. I am so happy. Placing every door 50 times to get the perfect clutter was too frustrating for this lovely relaxing game
Just treated myself to this fabulous title. I love how relaxing it is to play without having to trade or fight. At 60 I’m happy just to watch the flowers grow. Looking forward to other updates. Thanks for posting
Didn’t expect the decorative items to be movable any time soon, this is AMAZING to hear! 😲🤭🤩 I can’t wait for next week to try and fiddle with the clutter. An amazing video, thank you for the update! 😌🙏
Thank you so much! 😊 I’m just as excited about the movable items-it’s such a game-changer for creativity! I hope you have a blast experimenting with the clutter next week. ✨ Your support means the world to me-thank you for watching!
For someone who just wants game time to be a relaxing and creative affair (like I do) rather than "exciting" or "challenging" or a second job, this little gem is such a breath of fresh air. It's beautiful.
I was wondering if that was a feature or not. I’m a Mac user so I won’t get to play this game unless I buy a pc. But I’m fascinated by i. I want to try it so bad.
@@TinaThevargeI'm a Mac user too, I use a Shadow PC to play, I'd recommend trying them or other similar companies, if you want to get involved! Super easy to get set up! 😊
Right? It does have that cozy, handcrafted feel, like a claymation world brought to life. 😊 The art style is one of my favorite things about this game too!
I am assuming that this is utilizing UE 5.5 Megalights featureset. Very cool. They should add the ability to walk around at true scale in your creations
@UrsusVox just starting up with the game, mostly to have some inspiration for my lego builds, so I'll gladly see what kind of nice creations you come up with 😉
I appreciate clutter being auto generated because it decorated my builds better than I could most the time. Why isn’t there also a button for clutter where you can specifically choose your item and place it instead of going through all the loops and hoops of it auto generating by doors. There was a time I gave up trying to get the wagon I wanted.
Completely agree with you on that. I’d also love to see a button for directly selecting items, it would make decorating so much easier. Let’s hope they add this feature soon. 😊👍
@ I’m sure they will eventually. And bridges! I have yet to really sit down with it over the Christmas holidays but I’m looking forward to playing more.
I’m not sure what else you have planned for the future (already love the game as is) but if there will be more architecture types, I really would love to see like Andalusi/Arabic/Oriental styles, with things like zellige tiles, poly lobed and pointier arches, things like that. I’m from Spain so I would love do be able to do an Andalusi courtyard 😅 Maybe a desertic landscape to go with the style too, but ofc I understand that you must have many things in mind and many other ideas from so many people, and that perhaps you don’t want to complicate the game too much? I see your idea for it was a mix of simplicity and complexity alike. I love that the game has a touch of random imperfections (in the best sense possible) in that it does not have a grid or perfect measures and you have to accept if something is slightly off. (Although with this update things definitely seem to be more adjustable). All in all what I’m trying to say is this is the best game of the year for me. I have not found myself longing for a game so much in such a long time, so thank you. I don’t even care about massive AAA games anymore. I wish I can get better at building things and perhaps make some videos of my builds! 💖
Your ideas are really interesting, and I agree, this game has such a unique charm with its mix of simplicity and creativity. It’s so exciting to see how much inspiration it sparks for everyone! 😊
Oh, tell me about it! I’m working on a larger build right now, and I’ve thought the same thing so many times. I really hope they add this feature soon. It would be such a time saver! 😊
So, I really want to buy this and hop on using it, but I was wondering first. Is it possible to animate camera movements, say through keyframing or some similar way? Like once we're done creating our scene and all, can we create animations with cinematic camera movements to present areas of the scene and maybe other slight aspects like change of time or wheather, etc, for a cool short video?
Tiny Glade has a camera feature where you can adjust focus and lens width for taking pictures, as well as a POV mode. It doesn’t have keyframing or advanced animation tools, but you can change the time of day and adjust the sun’s angle for lighting.
Will they add placeable characters that are scalable and posable? I've seen people try to construct characters using blocks and various techniques with varying results.
A mountain village would be amazing! 😃⛰️ While there's no official word on terrain height increases yet, it would definitely be a great addition to the creative possibilities. Fingers crossed for future updates! 🤞
To adjust the light settings, click on the sun icon in the toolbar. This will bring up two wheels on the screen-one for the time of day and the other for sun orientation, allowing you to control the light's intensity and direction to suit your build. Additionally, with the update that went live on Monday, the developers added a new feature! By selecting the paint tool, you can now adjust the light intensity for individual lanterns. Just note that this change has to be made separately for each light. 🌟 Have fun experimenting! 😊
Steam is absolutely free! It's actually the biggest platform for games out there. 😊 Unfortunately, Tiny Glade isn't free, but it is on sale right now. 😄 Sadly, it’s not compatible with macOS at the moment, but hopefully, that’ll change in the future! 😅
As of now, the developers haven't announced any plans for Tiny Glade to be available on PS5 or other consoles. The game is currently only available on PC.
The update will be going live this week! 😊 Once it’s available, you’ll just need to update your game as usual, and you’ll be able to enjoy all the new features. 🎉 *Note: On Steam, this usually means the game will update automatically if you have auto-updates enabled. If not, you can head to your library, right-click Tiny Glade, select 'Properties,' and check for updates under the 'Updates' tab. Hope this helps!
The game isn’t free, but it’s absolutely worth it for how charming and relaxing it is! 😄 I just checked, and on Steam, with the current sale, you can get the game for 20% off at 11.83€. 😄💸
Can someone explain to me why you would use this instead of let's say Blender if you want full creative control over everything? Like I get the appeal of Tiny Glade if you want something beatiful with incredibly minimal effort, but at some point if you're (like one of the other comments mentions) creating a fake bench because you want full creative control... why not just use blender+some object library add on? (Sincerely no hate, sincerely trying to understand what drives people to use Tiny Glades as 3d editing software)
Founder of Gamer's Lens here: I'm a professional 3D artist - Blender is one of my tools of choice and my area is in photorealistic recreations of tv and movie sets. However - I absolutely love this software (as evident by my channel). I don't see it as 3d editing software so much as - well - what it is: a fun, almost zen, way of creating wonderful diorama style settings. Could I do these in blender? Yes - full creative control in Blender means hundreds of sliders, nodes, texture manipulation, mesh editing, etc. It also means a steep learning curve and a full understanding of multiple skill sets (if you are doing everything yourself). Even with the object library add-ons there are still an entire class of things to know to design the scene. Full creative control in Tiny Glade means a simple and intuitive experience. No steep learning curve, no need to know how to texture, no worry of poly counts or corrupted libraries, no optimizing render settings based on your GPU. -- I believe that is it's main attraction. It is for me. But good question!
Great question! Tiny Glade is perfect for those who want to start creating right away without the steep learning curve of software like Blender. It’s easy, relaxing, and guarantees beautiful results, making it super satisfying. Blender is amazing for complete creative control, but it requires a lot of time and skill to master. Personally, I think both have their place, and learning Blender is definitely on my to-do list! 😊 Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
@gamerslens Exactly what I was thinking! You explained it so well, and as someone who knows Blender, your comment really shines a light on this question perfectly. Thank you for sharing your insight! 😄
Thanks for all the insightful replies. Really great and interesting to hear you know how to use and like both @gamerslens ! I wonder what it would take to make traditional 3d editing software more 'enjoyable' to use artistically. Seems like it should be possible to make something more 'general purpose' than Tiny Glade that's more like doodling on paper rather than serious productivity software like Blender. 🤷 Thanks again anyway for the really nice replies!
