I never thought Martin Logan could be so impressive and detailed, so I listened to it on the phone with a simple headset. incredibly impressive. Thanks for sharing

For some martin logan sounds like plastic, has unlistenable power compression and beams like crazy despite a stupid curved design.

Such gorgeous natural reverb, adds a lovely soundstage.
Mostly due, to the song being recorded live in a music hall.
Huge soundstage, depth and acoustics thanks to that wonderful space proves one more time that at least 50% of overall success is where the setup is done. You can improve the sound only so much with gear unless the ideal room/space is used.
This restaurant hall is everything but not perfect. No dampening AT ALL as you can see, hard floor and hard surfaces all around … Wondering how you come to an opinion like this ?!
@@bikemike1118 the reverberation from all the echoes makes it sound like a well recorded track in a studio. It's easy to say the room acoustics are help in this situation because to many, even if it's not accurate, reverb is appealing in a sense the sound is heavenly, or more filling. That's likely what the original comment was referring to, and in some respects I'd agree. It's not that much different than an outdoor auditorium projecting sound outward towards the audience. Just my 2 cents kn the matter

The acoustic character of the space has a significant part to play in this demo and therefore may lead to an illusion who’s reality can be quite deferent in a regular home environment/Listenning room. Martin Logan’s tend to be chameleons in this regard. Great demo as always. Thank you for posting.
the piece by mesolella has already been recorded with hall. every halfway sensible loudspeaker reproduces the piece almost like this in the living room

cant beat Logans w a rowland Gr8 sound
So many (as seen in the first few comments alone) have NO experience with Martin Logan electrostatics. I have had many a guest in my dedicated listening space (NOT a living-room!) that have never heard a pair. Needless to say, they leave with a completely different understanding. The model you see here is NOT from the newest 'Masterpiece' series, and yet, they are pretty amazing!
I have the Classic 9's which are the babies in the high end series, and they are an end game for me 🙂! With the recommended 400 wpc amplifier and an efficiency of 90 DB, they can play as big and loud as you care to listen and present a huge sound stage. Or, be whisper quiet in the background if need be.

So, just how much of that reverb is on the soundtrack & how much is the locale?
Considering the volume inside this building, there is no way the "sustained echo" we hear is a result of that space, the size of the building would have to be several times, maybe ten times larger to get that type sound. Obviously there is going to be some echo within that building & that echo contributes to the music we hear...but the outright speed of that "returning sound" would make for a very shortly timed echo.

The one time that you don't walk behind the speaker cabinet is the one speaker that needs to be walked behind, Are those things 360 degrees of sound dispersion, because it sure sounds like it.

I doubt it. There is definitely excellent soundstage though the 360 degrees of equal dispersion is far fetched for most setups. Location makes all the difference here.

Est ce que je doit juste brancher ,mes câbles d enceinte sur les sortie ( rouge et noire ) a l arriere de l enceinte a amplis ? Pouvez vous m aider svp ?

I know you have just started selling Jeff Rowland amps although so far I have only seen the Continuum S2, would love to see more such as the top-of-the-range Class D integrated Daemon. Ideally, I would love to see the Class AB flagship monoblocks too, but I understand for some reason the production of both the 925 and 825 have been suspended for the time being.
Since we are on the subject of trying out other brands. As far as speakers go, you must try MBL. They are omnidirectional. I think many of your high end customers would love them. You will be impressed.
