They forgot all the votes that went mysteriously overwhelmingly for Hank Evans, that were shipped in at 2am after the vote counting suddenly stopped for three hours.
One problem I see here is that of purpose/goal. So let's say that someone doesn't see the point of preparing something. I get it, because I'm often asked to do something meaningless for me and I don't get proper explanation for doing something, so I don't pay enough attention to it. Sometimes there's no clear explanation, because no one knows or wants to explain it properly, because that's additional work. In my work I try to do whatever is expected, because I'm getting paid to do so and I can't fail on anything significant. In school there were only grades and I eventually realized that they're meaningless for me, so why should I bother, if something doesn't interest me? I could do more work and optimize for best grades and pleasing others, but should I do it? Is it in my best interest to blindly follow system or should I at least question it to get confirmation that it makes some sense? What, if something doesn't make sense? My effort is always some cost. There is always some reward. Not always reward is worth the cost. You don't work 8h to earn $1. However you're expected to put additional effort, when there's no obvious benefit, except pleasing some specific person that wants to see that you put effort. Isn't it kind of pointless, if both sides can't see the point, because they fundamentally disagree? Who gives a right to say that one way is better than the other? Neurodiversity is a thing that we know today, so we know that every person works in somewhat different way. None is better, but there's no single way that is best for everyone. People need to be responsible, but people need to be responsible for things that actually matter.
I vote for Beverly Anderson - the prepared student on the debate team. But, then again, in 1953 the president of the student government would never be a girl!
Idk abt 1953 but bruh its almost consistently a girl at my school lmfaoooo. Its like a litteral cult atp. I still dont know what these people do exactly.
Wow! Hank is a real looker! Handsome face and head full of gorgeous hair. Must have had tons of girls. I am sorry his attitude does not match his golden looks.
So I guess they don't show movies like this in schools any more even updated ones. Too bad, they gave the teachers a bit of a break, gave the students a treat and covered topics not usually part of the curriculum.
Hi, hey, hello, educator here... I've taught composition courses... What in the name of Davey Jones' Locker is a "theme" paper? 😅 Is it a type of essay like Persuasive or a thesis or is it a paper about a theme? The latter would make sense for the teacher and class irl, that they would call it simply the "theme" paper. But in a educational video like this, it doesn't fit so I'm confuzzeled. Lol
HAHAHAHAHA I was born in 1957, my mom and dad had five kids and I was the last. We grew up and lived in the same town all our lives. By the time I got to high school they saw what my last name was and quit their jobs.
My older sister (born in 1949) was not what one would call a good student, and my father once told me I (born in 1952) would have to work very hard because the teachers would assume I would be like my sister. (He also told me it was up to me to 'prove' to the school that the whole family was not like my sister--for example, both my parents were college graduates.) I worked hard and did very well, but never encountered anything to suggest the teachers had been influenced by my sister's performance--in most cases I had different teachers which obviated the need to deal with any preconceptions.
It's the responsibility of this video to inform who won
Obviously whoever the absent student thought was sexier.
Hank is a hothead. The point of the outline is to demonstrate that you can follow instructions.
Thirteen minutes that CHANGED MY LIFE. I'm thirteen minutes older.
LOL
underrated comment (y)
I like Hank but id vote Lloyd nice guy and he gets stuff done.

I 'd cast my vote for Lloyd. The main reason people voted for Hank is he's good-looking. Booo!
I knew it was going to end in that manner -lol.
The vote was for Lloyd
Come onnn!! I was waiting for who it was gonna beeeee!!!!😭

Yep, I'm Hank except I'm an introvert. Currently behind in all my work.
It’s 11 months later. Have you finished reading chapters nine and 10 yet?
Hey, somebody shirked their responsibility to finish this story and I got gyped out of seeing my guy Responsible Lloyd win!
Wait, why is Ms Gramby teaching themes? In the "cheating " film she taught math!
this is the WORST cliffhanger ive ever seen

I wonder if these were played before movies or on TV?
liberty Ann, they were played at schools. We loved it when we got to watch a movie. We always applauded when they were over. LOL
They were played at school using a movie projector and a screen.
So I guess they don't show movies like this in schools any more even updated ones. Too bad, they gave the teachers a bit of a break, gave the students a treat and covered topics not usually part of the curriculum.
They had tv and movies for twenty years before this. I'm editing this because that was a joke, but it really didn't read that way...
The dad of hanks reminds me of the version of albert wesker from RE 5 lol
They are pretty hard on Hank
Whatever they're voting on, the one they should elect is Beverly.

I'm not sure, but that term's used in all of the older TV shows from the 50s & 60s. They must have changed what they called it at some point.
I was wondering the same and thought everybody else knew what it was lol!
"confuzzled"--that looks like a good new word!
4:46 Side Eyes for days
🤣
I wanted to see who won.
So who won???!!!!
Before Americans learned how to act. 5 votes a-piece and they had to count and re-count. haha

My age? No way. I am nearly 58 😂
I love Beverly Anderson. Those girls were beautiful back then. Not so much now. Ms. Granby is pretty hot too.
my hs was Lincoln HS!
LOLz "Is this art or Algebra"?
I hope they aren't still in school at my age
My age? Really? You’ve a high school full of students in their 60’s?😮
