*Everyone talks about the moment she was “cursed” & shamed David - but never acknowledges the abandonment and pain she went through to get to that point. I love how every story of the history in the bible is given for a reason, thank you for this, as I was working I was quickened to these characters and was able to find and listen to your teaching. We always need to be aware of the ancient laws that to modern day make little sense but explain the time and the story.*
History repeats itself...heartbroken women of today have the same reaction and response to thwarted love and betrayal of the women of yesterdays! Love centered on a human being can't be expected to last than the love of God!
The story of Michal is a sad one she loved a man who did not love her back as he took other wives and loved our Lord more than his wife. Michal's life was one of sadness and rejection
She did not have nothing, she had someone else who was looking at her just like she was looking at David and feeling unseen - Jesus Christ's eyes were on her, loving her but unseen because she was totally consumed by David. You see that is what we do to Christ. Normally what we are feeling is what we are doing to Christ. If she had lifted her heart to the Lord instead in those times of unseen loneliness, she would have discovered a love much better than that of a man. And then she would not have been remembered for her ' barrenness' but for something more awesome that the Lord would have downloaded into her soul. We would have heard something great about her that she accomplished through the Spirit. But even now, she still got something better - only it was stored for her as a treasure in heaven instead of on earth. You had better believe it God is much more loving than us. Michal's pain and tears are over because they were wiped away when she died. God loves His children with an everlasting love.

All I see is rejection, rejection and rejection that didn't allow her to breathe. SAD.😢
