This is my ideal couples camper. Really like the walk through bathroom, the placement of the fridge with opening from either side, the ample space at the foot of the bed, the fact that it has two entrances and that the dinette has no legs to bump into.
I really like this Bumper Pull and the layout. Thank you for the proprietary keystone info. That is really helpful for customers to know more about the brand. Seems as if a lot of these rv are just thrown together with no thought. I know a couple that had to work on one of their tank valves. " Montana " Which we thought was on the higher end. Well when he opened up the belly to gain access, All of the trash from the workers was just thrown down there as the rv was being built. I was very disappointed for them. But again thank you so much for the videos.
I would like where the recliner so I am in front of the TV. I wish that was a loveseat or a small couch that pulls out into a bed and then it would be perfect.

This floor plan was a contender! We ultimately ended up with the 25RDS. Love the walk through bath, definitely spacious. Ours is a 2025 with some great updates! We did a lot of research for something 30’ or under that met all the criteria, we also liked the similar Delta. Lots of similarities with how Delta and Cougar are built. After watching the reviewer that fails the rig if it has cable slides we were very nervous so we went back to find more research. Josh the RV Nerd has videos on the different slide mechanisms as well as Keystone. We’ve only had our Cougar about 6 weeks, we really like it. Our last camper we owned for 12 years, it was a hybrid so this was a huge step up. Enjoy your reviews!

I know you like the wood tones that more manufacturers are using this year, but I strongly prefer this color scheme. I agree that white and gray is not exciting, but I love the light and dark combo. Wood tone cabinets are a show stopper for me (unless it's actual, stained wood), even if I like the floor plan and other things about the RV. I guess it's just personal taste! Great info about Keystone. That makes me want to give them some serious consideration. You are absolutely right about including informational signs around the RV. These things are extremely helpful information for making a decision about what to buy. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I like the look, but I noticed that there aren’t enough plugins in the kitchen, and I think that’s a missed opportunity. A pop up plugin in the corner behind the sink would be a great idea! I also agree with your suggestion about the window trim! The boxy trim is very old looking that has been used for many years. I do wish that they would stop using pleather in the seating. It’s gross. It’s a shame to spend so much money on a trainer, only to have to change the seating. The battery connections and shut off should be in the lockable storage area for safety.
Hey Myles I hope that you're having a great day! I have always liked the Keystone Cougars. How long have they been using those new AC vents? I do wish that they would use the new blade light beams in the ceiling, because I think you get better lighting inside the RV. How long have they been using that hyperdecking in the Cougar model Rv's? Do they use the hyperdecking in the side walls? I like what they are doing in this Cougar travel trailer! I usually like pretty much every camper that I see a tour of in one way or another. But I honestly don’t care for this one. For several reasons, too many to list. But this video was awesome as always!😊
So tired of theater seats n dinettes. Do a plush long couch with portable tables. Love the placement of the fridge. Happy to see a nice bathroom sink instead of a cheap PLASTIC one. Wish all RVs had longer awnings that go way past the door (or move the door so its covered).❤
I love the placement of the fridge, it's super convenient to access while outside. I wish the tv had a mount that allows you to pull it out closer to the couch (since it's not giant lol) and can swivel towards the dinette. I prefer pass through bathrooms because of the extra space. One thing I wish companies would do is instead of all the blue accent lighting (like the cupholders) make them red, it's easier on the eyes at night. Another thing I'd like to see companies to start doing is have at least a small clothes washer with either a hang drier line under the exterior awning or in the bedroom (while not in use).
I like the layout of this camper, the only negative is the back door. What could that space be used for if the door was removed? Something about a door going into the bedroom sort of wigs me out. Not much shown on this video on under storage. Where would I store bulky items like zero recliner chairs or standard bulky lawn chairs? Is a spare tire included on this model? What is the overall weight and fully loaded weight? or is this something to talk to the dealer about?
I will say just off the bat, I do like that you can still access your fridge and at least microwave if you need to pull over to have a meal with slides in. I am assuming you can also access the bathroom from the rear door if not the front.
This RV hits a few of the wants on our list but not sure about half ton and the heavier front kitchen weight. Im 6'-4" and sad to see I wont fit the shower. The swivel table is new to me glad no toe or knee stubbers. A rear hitch is needed for a rack and/or hold bikes. Was there a quick propane connect outside? Under the bed could have a.movable shelf to layer stuff. The pantry could have option to remove some shelves to use as a closet. What type of jacks? Thanks for going into details.
Nice walk-thru. I especially like you spending time talking about the construction. Why are they using a cable slide? That's the only thing keeping this off my list.
nix the bdrm door for a WD. . possible incinerator toilet so no black tank then increase the fresh water tank? (why don't they allow for AC for you guys? geez!) why does your solar ad-ons cost soooo much? warranty?? side note. .what are th biggest issues in repairs wit hthis one and all others? full disclosure pls
I’m not a fan of the pass thru bathroom. If you’re using the toilet, your partner has to leave bedroom or be shut in there til you finish. But, great informative video. Thx for that! Also. They’re calling this a half ton, which I’m assuming means tow it with half ton truck, but with a dry weight of 7100 lbs, it’s going to be pushing the limits of a lot of half ton trucks
Fridge by the door is an absolute disaster with the summer temps I can’t imagine that this being done or was allowed to happen. Your food is going to have a higher chance of spoiling this just can’t be. Myles we love all of rv vids you and your wife review and you’re doing a great job describing this cougar but for me being educated by you and many other TH-camrs this is a non starter.
He obviously didn't design it and the RV industry isn't exactly known for its energy efficiency or durability. Every RV has its pros and cons, he just shows his audience what's on the market, the good, bad, and the ugly... And, what may be a no-go for you, could work for someone else. As for the fridge being right next to the door, it might have to work harder to hold its temperature, which will obviously draw more power and may cause it to not last as long. Some people will be willing to make that trade off of it not lasting as long, for the convenience and ease of access of having it next to the door. Also, people put refrigerators and freezers in their uninsulated garage or shed, on their back patio/porch, on their boat decks, ect.. literally all the time and they work just fine.
Is the beard new??? I ask because I am not in favor of it, I prefer you neat and trim. As for the RV, I love the interior colors, maybe a little safe but could've used an accent color. Sad that they upgraded to solid wood in the drawer but then used nails not screws??? The height of the ceiling is really low, not conducive to the heighted population. I'm short and I don't even like it. And lastly, always, always a king-sized bed.
I’ll never buy another keystone rig again I had a 2017 keystone cougar 32rli the kit bump out floor rotted out cost 7200 to fix I dumped it bad design drip edge does not go below floor JUNK don’t buy keystone

The only thing missing is a hookup for a washer/dryer combo. This would be a great full time option if it had that.

Not enough counter space for me, I the kitchen is pretty wish it was bigger though.

Hoping that Hypercore sidewalls and ABS are standard throughout all Keystone models, not just Cougar!
Usually Keystone Cougar leads the way with these things and the other brands follow. Hopefully that will be the case!
