Great song. The song relates to me in a sense that maybe it’s about his addiction to cocaine? And the darkness in his mind and pain in his heart is to WHY he uses. At some point he said “it takes letting go of the things you don’t need.” And making excuses, losing is fine, lying to his mother, pain he caused to others. It sounds like the hellish world of addiction.
You're entirely missing and misinterpretting the lyrics. He said, "time isn't patient. No, patience takes time." He is saying exactly what you were conveying but, you missed that entirely. He is also a former addict, including cocaine. He has another song which contains the lyrics, "And I've never walked the line because I've always rather shoved it in my nose."
I've been listening to Amigo the Devil for more than a decade. I recommend "Another Man's Grave." That song got me. It is a dark song about finding oneself.
Ayyyyyy are you gonna hit up that Ren trilogy? Not trying to super Ren fan you to death but it’s truly a game changer in his music, think you’ll enjoy.
Great reaction! I hate how we chopped statements and made them mean the reverse. “Blood is thicker than water” is shortened to mean family is your closest bond. The real statement is “The blood of the covenant, is thicker than the water of the womb.”. Our people that we make our ties with, who we go to war with… those are your real people.

I find that when they constantly interrupt the song, it's because they don't want to cry or show emotion. Especially on a song like this. They are cool. Too cool to show emotion.
In many countries outside the US, women still wear a veil in Catholic chuches. In Mexico and other Latin countries, women are not supposed to enter church showing their head or face and wear a mantilla/veil. Also shouldn't wear a short sleeved shirt exposing their upper arms. I grew up Catholic in the US and wore it but things have changed to be casual. I'm a recovering Catholic😂 Good reaction!
There's a lot of Amigo songs that I'd recommend, but basically any of them are great. There's not been one I've heard that I've disliked
