The Malahit DSP SDR was developed in Russia and in the video you see the dsp2 of which there are at this time no clones available on the Market. The V3 is a clone of the Original Russian Malahit DSP1 with additional board for HF and similar performance to the Original DSP1. If you have the cash always get the Original.
what is the dynamic range (dB) of this receiver ? i mean narrow spaced (2KHz). sounds a bit clearer than the yaesu ft891 but not as clear as the icom ic7610.
@@subzerolives Thanks for the reply & the heads-up. Nice setup you've got their. Getting the tablet stand. Have a good one man, take it easy. Thanks & Ciao..!
Seems the Russians don't send you updated version I never see you go above 200 .big drawback I don't like to update .the clones are coming updated I think .thanks
That's because there's nothing of interest above 200 for me, at the time this video was filmed the DSP2 was more than capable of going over 200MHZ but I don't know how many people are interested in seeing this.
Frequency range - from 50 kHz to 380 MHz, and 400 MHz to 2 GHz Improved RF shielding and hardware improvements to reduce interference Changes in software functions Dimensions changed to 140x 88x 39mm 18650 battery The DSP-2 is in a thin black metal cabinet with dimensions 5 x ½ by 3 x ½ by 1 x ½.
Hello I'm using a 122 cm telescopic whip in combination with the SAR32M pre amp on the Malahit 50 Ohm option. the setup is attached to a cheap camera tripod. Frequenzbereich: 20 MHz - 1300 MHz

Hi Peter, how's the reception indoor?
No antenna works well indoors, especially not E-Field/magnetic antennas .
