One of my favourite PCT videos, and I've watched a few! The image at 4.36 where the rain hanging in the sky lights up orange along with the clouds is simply one of the most beautiful images I've ever seen. Doing a real long distance thru hike like this is just a dream for most of us, me included, best I can manage is section hiking the Coast to Coast and Offa's Dyke, you both must have made some real sacrifices to do the PCT but I'm sure that your lives will be richer because you did. Thank you for making this video and all the videos of your PCT hike, I've watched them all and will doubtless do so again. You deserve to be seen by many more people, good luck with any future hikes that you do, I'll be looking out for more videos from you, obviously I've subscribed.
Really great video. I enjoyed meeting you guys early on the trail. This year, I stopped at Tahoe; but wanted to continue. Plan southbound to Tahoe next year.
I've just seen you did the PCT...wow. I've been thinking (dreaming) about it for years. Will dive into your PCT vids, to see a rare British perspective. Good to see Russell on your vid too. Great Teaser video. I know how much effort goes into shooting, preparing and editing, not to mention hiking the damn trails! Well done indeed 👏 Justin 🤠
Yeah great for him that he managed it in the end, so many roadblocks. My own plans were 8 years in the making. Just trying to figure out how to do life and thru hikes too. Thank you, some great feedback from someone who knows
Great video's guys, we have loved following your journey. how long did it take you and did you have time at the end before having to leave the US. i see you bumped into the trail hunter , was he doing the PCT also? bid you meet many Brits along the way such as sparkle Lizard.
Thanks John, it took us 4 1/2 months. We were lucky to get to the terminus before it closed for the fires. He is, he’s doing a flip flop and headed south at the moment, he’s nearly done. His channel will be back up before long. Lots of Europeans this year but not too many Brits. We got to spend some time in Leavenworth & Seattle before flying.
