Everest is NOT 8,000+ kms high. It is 8,000+ metres high. Oops.
He said the figure itself not the distance
The numbers are similar, he ddnt say it with distances itself
US Canada border 8891km , Everest height 8848m
@michaellennon873, that certainly would increase the degree of difficulty re. a summit.😂
He did not say in what units only the "figure".
I have more random facts:
The Pacific Ocean is bigger than all land on earth combined.
You can fit 34 million Vatican Citys in Russia.
Monaco with 40,000 people has a similar GDP to Somalia with about 17 million.
The sun never sets UK and France because of overseas territories.
India has a higher population than all of Africa.
And yet, France and UK each have a higher GDP than Africa.
In Czechia, beer is cheaper than water.

Equatorial Guinea is not on the equator
@@ViktorCZ42 no because vatican city is the name. it’s not a general word like city so it’s vatican citys

Pacific, Indian and Southern Oceans. 😮
50. South America has the least countries of any continent, at 12? Australia has entered the chat. So has North America.
Yes, French Guyana, (Cayenne) east of Suriname,is controlled by France.
Any corrections to this?
Australia is a bit of a debate. Depends if you are counting those that are part of Oceana (like Fiji, Palau, Somoa, etc), which I think you have to do. With all of those there are 14 in Australia. North America has way more than that. A lot of people think North America is just Canada, US and Mexico, but all of Central America is technically in North America, as well as all of the Caribbean island nations.
@@michellelee2409 There's the cultural tally and there's the geographical tally. I don't think Caribbean Islands would be considered within North America geographically. And I've heard _Australasia_ used to describe the continent plus New Guinea, New Zealand, Samoa and other Pacific nations. But Australia itself I have not heard described as having all those within its continent. As you noted, the line can be drawn in various ways.
North America has all of the carribian islands

Wait Everest is as tall as the US/Canada border? Huh?
@@greatpyramid4348 No it isn't.
The US Canada border is about 5.5×10^3 miles long, and Mount Everest is about 5.5 miles high. So *basically* the same 😂
@@greatpyramid4348 No it's not, it's not even close. If this was true people would almost be in space at the top of Mount Everest having run out of oxygen completely hundreds of kilometers further down. Just think for a second.
@@greatpyramid4348 You said the length of the US Canada border is around the same as the height of Mount Everest correct?

If the water between the arctic islands of Canada were removed, the US would be bigger than Canada, but it would still be ridiculously close.
I'm not certain what your point was when talking about S. America, and bringing in Antarctica, but it sounded more than a bit questionable, since they're each continents on their own.
On this side of the pond, "The Americas" is considered 2 continents--N.A. and S.A., with the Caribbean lands being part of the North portion.
You neglected to clarify whether the #67 tree is a redwood or a Sequoia. Since the trunk is rather stocky, I'm going to guess Sequoia.
You dropped the ball on #77, as the north coast of Alaska (USA) also faces the Arctic Ocean--from the NW corner to the Canadian border.
Just an FYI, the last time I updated my list of international airports here in the USA, it stood at 156.
He meant that Antarctica has no countries, so that's obviously the continent with the fewest countries. If you don't include Antarctica, than it would be South America.
