Do you have other video tutorials explaining how this was made?

Impressive work! I wonder about the loading time from web server, as each slide is a video clip, would there be a long loading time for each slide they go into? or the whole game is downloaded and cached before play on the web? I remember I had a terrible experience making VR 360 with Adobe Captivate, there was constant loading and crashing while loading each slide, so I hope with Articulate Storyline the experience would be better.

There are a few strategies you could implement. First and foremost is optimisation of the file itself, in this project the videos are very short looping clips and so are actually no larger than a decent quality image file. For a large quantity of video files you could investigate the preload attribute to buffer all media prior to the interaction becoming accessible to the user.

@@discoverelearning thanks for your answer, I will start exploring storyline and look into preload, as I prefer a smoother user experience, I think user is willing to wait a little longer before the game starts, not while playing

I find this incredible, would it be possible to add 3D modules inside a marker? Let's say you press a marker or a hot spot and a 3D wound appears.

Many thanks for that. I believe what you have described would require implementation of something like a Rive interaction embedded as a web object into the scene.

I found a great solution to this problem with the google model-viewer, which enables you to add a 3D model with embedded web-video as http link, i put the video frame holder in a new layer and trigger it with hot spot, which controlled the model very well @discoverelearning @@discoverelearning

Brilliant! Can I ask how you added the animated elements to the 360 panoramic background?

We have a full step-by-step tutorial that explains the process we use to replace a static 360° image with video in Storyline: th-cam.com/video/ZS4ya6w5xpE/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=DiscovereLearning

Chris, You are a master ID. So much detail has gone into this. Truly impressive once again. Dare I ask how long it took to develop?

Difficult to say really as it was a project I dipped in and out of a lot over last 2-3 months. Let's say though that without the advances seen in AI this year achieving the same result would have taken MUCH longer! 🤩

Great job ! Do you think it would be possible to replace the markers with a rounded shape picture/photo ? Thank you 😊

Really don't see why not! I'll be sharing the technique in a new Storyline Magic Series episode as soon as I can record.
