Every tourist visiting Japan for the first time

  • What happens when foreigners go to Japan's famous deer park? Recently, I met up with my mom for the first time in 3 years and we visited Nara, Japan. You can hear my mom laughing at me in the background. I'm definitely entertaining her here on this long overdue mother-daughter trip. I'll be going back to America with her next month. It will be my first time back in the US in 3 years.

These are not regular deers…regular deers in Japan in mountains don’t come to humans like this. I’m Japanese living in Japan and there are different types of deers in Japan. These are sacred deers of the temple and they live in this Deer Park. These are wild deers but they’re sacred. These deers own the town…and humans are the guests.

@@Solisium-Channel That's true, but we've destroyed the planet. We hold all the power as a species. When we run over animals in our cars and just drive away leaving the scrambled remains of a living breathing creature on the road, we can realize that we are the the harbingers of this planets demise. We capture, kill and sell living creatures for them to be used as entertainment.
I think taking good care of them is an insignificant price to pay compared to the devastation we've wreaked on this planet.

It kinda happened to me, got a small nip from a deer because I was waiting to long to feed them lmao (they tend to be very impatient🤣).It didn’t really hurt at all, but it surprised and scared me a little, I started running away from some of them after that, but they still kept chasing lol. It’s a really nice place to visit, definitely recommend. Just be careful not to wait too long to feed them because they *will* chase you wherever you go.🤣 And make sure to watch behind you because some can sneak up on you and catch you by surprise.😂
