Awesome! "Pull Me Under" is my favorite Winger track as well. I totally hear that Judas Priest "Painkiller"-riff that you mentioned. Also worth tracking down is a 2CD "Demo Anthology" from 2007 with 27 songs!

I like every album they've got so much, so much variety in their music. Can't wait for Winger VII. Best to worst for me. With that said I love all these albums and my list from best to best. So many other bands that are from the 80s that try and make albums now do not sound great, or the music they are writing does not suit their age bracket. Kip and the band are just wizards in the studio.

Saw them twice in concert. Excellent shows. However "Pull " always stands out for me. The aggressive guitar work on most of the tracks."Not Man's Land" one of my favorite Winger songs and "Who's the One" one of my favorite ballads. Wish I can relive those days. Nice work, I'd agree that BDC is "worst" but aS you say it's all relative and their worst is up with many bands' best work. Apart from that I think I'd have Karma at 5 but seriously difficult to rank the other 4.
It sucks how much backlash glam metal receives from the metal community. People instantly think " oh def leppard and motley crue" and how overplayed they are on the radio. Radio stations will only play 1 or 2 of glam bands' top tracks over and over again so from a certain viewpoint I understand the hate. Despite that, winger is a rare gem in the glam subgenre. I wish more people would give their discography a chance instead of dissing on them all because the radio overplays seventeen. They have some amazing tracks like you mentioned. Also the powerslave poster in the background....... h a n d it o v e r

talks about all the shreddin, but then doesn't mention the solo's in witness on karma, those are legendary, especially the last one, it goes on for like 3 minutes and is insane, it just keeps going and getting better, what a solo.
First time I heard Winger was Bill & Teds Bogus Journey soundtrack with the song Battle Station which is awesome. First two albums are great. Pull is probably my favourite album by them. Winger IV is a great come back album & Karma has great songs on. Better Days Are Coming is cool but like you say maybe afew songs not quite on par. All in all a brilliant & talented band 🎸👍

I liked a lot their first two albums, I didn't like the two albums after these first two, Pull and Winger IV...the albums after Winger IV were ok, I liked them, but not as much as I liked their first two albums

You should check out Kip's solo work. Quite different from the band name but worth enjoying. I know Reb had a solo album came out just recently.
