HOW NORTH KOREA KILLED OTTO WARMBIER
    ==================
Now you may be guessing what happened to this guy -- well he is pleading for life
But what he did was why is he crying and pleading. - he committed a crime that is also in one of the most dangerous countries in the world - North Korea..And this crime took his life This is his story
Otto Woembier an US citizen - He was good in his studies and used to score top marks in his exams and was loved by all.. When it came time for him to go to college he decided to study in Hong Kong.In 2016 he got a rare opportunity to visit one of the most cruel and dangerous country in the world -- that's NK
Otto was curious to know about the life and culture of Nk. He also wanted to meet the people of this unique land...and hence we at one took up this chance and packed his bag.
On Dec 29 2015, he frew from Hong Kong to Beijing to NK - he was not alone - it was large of focks who all were travelling to NK for the first time.. The group also included 10 more US citizens -- their plan was for 5 days and in these 5 days they saw all the tourist places had lot of fun and witnessed the amazing new year eve firework show
On the same day at around 2 am.. Otto attempted a challenge and this challenge is scary - it's the 5th floor challenge.. Otto and his group were staying at the Yanggakdo Hotel in Nk - This hotel is famous for its secretive 5th floorBy trekking the lift many tourists went to the 5th floor before -- it has the staff quarters and the propaganda posters and it's totally different from the rest of the hotel... The entire floor is covered with CCTV cameras..
Normally when a tourist try to visit the floor - the floor staff send them back without telling anythingBut that was not the case with Otto - he did something else.. he went to the floor plus removed a propaganda poster..
Everything went unnoticed and was going normal till 2nd of Jan 1016.. they all checked out of the hotel and left for the airport...
everyone came to airport - suddenly security came and took him.. everyone thought of some security check...He was detained and the rest of the tour group left NK...
The news of this has been broadcasted in the local TV - they said he has been attested for the hostile act against the state
On 29 feb 2016, a press conference was held where - many news channels and police were present -- Otto has been given a prepared statement and he has to read from that.. He confessed that he did a severe crime
He admitted to have stolen a propaganda poster from the 5th floorSeeing this u can easily guess how terrified he is.. He kept pleading for forgiveness to the NK govt..
But no one was there to listen - he was charged with the crime of subversion and he was sentenced for 15 years of imprisonment..
Can u imagine just for taking a poster he was jailed for 15 years..now he has to work in the prison like other criminals
Back in the US the American govt tried to talk to the NK agencies and free Otto
Otto was in the prison for 1 and half years without any contact with the outside world the neurologist who was the lead physician for Otto Warmbier upon his return report stated that he died from an unknown injury causing lack of oxygen to the brain.
in NK he was in coma for sometime and then a special plane carried him to the US..
Otto landed in the American soil but there was no sign of his recovery - after few days Otto started breathing of his own and blinking his eyes but still his brain was not functioning
According to a brain scan- he lost lots of brain tissue
    june 19th 2017 he died - he was 22
