Dad is midwest excited lol. My dad is the same way. Saying "I am pretty excited"m with the same look on his face he always has is about as excited as it gets lol.

Excellent job Brian. You're a natural for representing today's farmer/rancher. Clearly, if you get the right piece of equipment it allows you to be more efficient and provide better quality feed and environment to your livestock which in effect produces a better quality animal which equates to profit. We don't always factor or value our time but it is a real cost.

Congratulations, your attempt at teaching others about different implements is a huge success. Brian and Cole, you two are doing all of us, the viewers of your videos, a big favour when you not only think of yourselves, but you also include us in on most of all the goings-on of each piece that you demo. And I say thank you for this. Maybe now that you two are getting to be so famous you will get lucky and the boys over at Bush Beer just might want to drop by with a truckload of nice cold ones for the farm. If they do see if you can get them to throw in a cooler/fridge for your wobbly pops to stay nice and cold GOOD LUCK on that one. If it works out send pic's of you two sitting down drinking some cold ones
The best part here, in my humble opinion, that will leave the best memories and will last a lifetime, is the special affection, and bond between this father and son.
Between the teasing, and jocks, they are constantly complimenting and checking on each other’s wellbeing.

All man, there is nothing like being at a equipment sale and trying to find the best deal, i am in my 60's now but i worked on a lot of farms and not all the same, but the work was hard and fun, its just a way of life, and we all need farmers, you guys help make the world go around, i am in Canada, but its all the same, there is bad farmers out there and any business there are bad but there are a lot more grate farmers like you guys out there, and that is what maters. keep being safe guys.
I run a process service and private investigation business. I am also completing a Masters in business administration. I enjoy your videos because even though we have very different businesses, there are many similarities. I enjoy seeing how other businesses solve he same issues we face as many of the solutions are transferable.
I thought it worked fantastic! Was fascinating watching the bale turn around and shrink... It's a pretty impressive bit of kit and you should DEFINITELY GET ONE! 👌🏼

I grew up working on a horse farm and also Hay'ed during the summer. One of my friends growing up was a row cropper and another was a Dairy Man. So i've always enjoyed farming but me myself am an IT Project Manager/Scrum Master. You guys keep me entertained every day during my boring meetings! I drink in my local establishments with many farmers so i can speak and understand the lingo now lol The only thing i farm is the 8 acers of grass i have to cut lol.

AGI Call center here in Boone IA. AKA your sellers for Augers, Conveyors, Post Pounders, and Grain Vaccs. Our Boss lets us watch your videos between calls and orders. You guys are absolutely hilarious and you make my day not so boring haha. I am in the process of watching them all in order. I can't wait until I get to recent ones. It is so funny, coworkers know exactly what I am doing when it's dead silent and then all of a sudden I'm crying cause I am laughing so hard. Can't wait tell I get to recent ones. I remember back in the 50's when I worked at custom Haying with a man, he told me never should you be without a knife and a pliers in your pocket on the farm. From that time on That is what I did and it saved me lots of time. Your asking your Dad for a knife made me think of that. John in Missouri Valley, Ia.

Just recently started watching farm life is what I want to do but I dont have land or equipment. Watching yall brightens my day some. Not to mention I have family up in eureka, idk if that's near yall or not but it's still South Dakota
I was in eureka several years ago for state teener baseball tournament. It is a long haul from here but what a beautiful baseball field. Home runs go in the lake!

I love the relationship you guys have with each other. Cole, you show a lot of respect and deference to your dad. And Brian, you seem to just enjoy having your son around, to not only work together, but just enjoy each other’s company. That’s priceless. Not everyone gets the privilege of having that kind of relationship in their lives.
Cole, I so enjoy your humor and the knowledge you are passing on. Farming in this day and age is so much different than when I was a kid growing up. The machinery that is available now would have made my life so much easier as a farmer than what we had available then. The technology is different also as the use of the land. Back when I was a kid, we plowed, disc, planted, harrowed, and cultivated two or three times for corn and possibly beans. Now they raise different crops and go over the land a lot less than back in the day. I enjoy seeing how knowledge and the equipment has changed. Enjoy your donuts as well. You deserve them!

Have owned a Roto Grind 1090 for 5 years. Have saved about $10,000 a year. We grind wet alfalfa bales 60-65% moisture, slow but works. The best feature is the bedding option, saves a ton of time. I didnt put enough horsepower on to begin with. After talking to Jason's dad, we put 200 hp on it and it works like a dream. The cherry on top - in 40 years of having cattle, Rotogrind has the best customer service I have ever run into. Top to bottom everyone in the company actually cares about you as a customer and taking care of your cattle.

@@briansonne814 If you purchase a Rotogrind, spend a little extra money and get the hydraulics for the chute put on at the factory. Two separate kits, one to swivel the chute, one for the tip up'down. I still do mine manually, but am planning to add this winter.

I’ve been hauling Grinders for Roto grind all over the country for years now. Some of the best people in the world. I gotta laugh I’ve hauled them everywhere but this is the first time I’ve seen them in full use lol. It was cool. Great videos! Thanks for sharing

I have a rotogrinder for grinder hay for my cows I love It. I grind Sudan hay with it so the cows don't waste the hay when the stocks get to big and grind corn to mix in feed , I think yal will like it to,great machine.
The smile on your dad’s face when your were first talking about the grinder said it all. I knew he was going to enjoy the day. I am sure it would be handy to be able to grind to order. Seen lots of them in my area but I had never saw one up close in operation.Thanks for that. Have you picked out a storage spot for it yet? LOL
I didn’t know how much I miss the drone footage, those really make the video cool in the summer, I know in the winter your are too busy to mess with the drone.

That's a nice grinder. Looks like it would be a good fit for yalls operation. Not too often can you get one machine to accommodate 3 uses. Hope all works out for you if it is the missing puzzle for your farm. Great video and stay safe

I'm a truck driver that grew up on a dairy farm 🚜 in South Alabama and now live in Kansas and me and my son love to watch the videos together
Farm hay and raise cattle in central Texas. Taught school here, also and raised a family farming and teaching. The farm life is hard to beat! I believe you represent that same sentiment through your channel. Great videos!
Buy one. You won’t regret it. We have run a roto grind for 50 years. They are a great company to work with. We run the alfalfa hammers. Love the hydraulic adjust on ours.

Years ago I used to own a company writing custom software for businesses. Technology kept changing and I kept having to start over. I finally stopped that business and became a computer engineer and worked on a lot of DOD contracts.

We have a haybuster grinder with a conveyor belt system for piling the ground hay. We like that we can pile hay in a barn out of the weather that we can feed for a week at a time. We also have one for spreading hay or straw out in pastures during the winter. We raise 300 head of Angus cattle and breed Hereford cattle as well. Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !

bought a roto grind 1090 in 2013 we grind a lot of grass hay ran it with a case ih 315 its slow and slug feeds grass hay hard on pto we sold ours and went back to custom grinder as far as bedding grinding it grinds stock bales good the pto chadders and takes forever for the drum to stop to turn

For the question about who watches your videos: I work in 2 Plant Pathology Diagnostic Labs at Kansas State University. One is for the USDA APHIS PPQ, the other for the KDA/state diagnostician. Coworkers in both labs love you guys!! My background is in molecular biology, so it’s nice to learn the big picture stuff about farming from guys like y’all. It’s helps me look at my work with crops from the perspective of the farmer that has submitted their samples. Thanks!!

Tub grinders were for the big boys. I had a New Holland Mixer Mill and fed square bales. Mixed my baled hay with corn, barley and a vitamin mix. Everything was blown into a three large feeder sheds. . 1980's..
