Too frustrating. Does anyone know how to set up a local game for 2 players on one SWITCH without AI players. I keep getting it in 4 player mode.

Press +/- on the prep screen. Make sure you are on Single Device mode or Story mode. Pressing +/- will start assigning controllers

When you beat the dunes boss you unlock party quest and you go to local but you need another switch because one person makes a game and others people join if they are on the same Wi-Fi
