Couple of years ago, on an X5 TAS, I stated that SDC was possible in realtime, to which I was told, rather rudely, that it was impossible to do in realtime, delegated to the frame-perfect realm of TAS. I doubt that person will ever read this message, but if he does? Suck it.
I find the guy sitting next to the runner to be rather rude. He constantly just cuts in to what other people are saying, without apology, and I have seen him in other videos just being plain rude to other people, such as Blueglass.
If you're talking about the voice off-screen, i completely agree. His name is KirbyMaster. He was in the X5 run as well (yellow shirt). He talks way too much and doesn't let the runner talk about the game he's running.
KirbyMaster was the one that ran Metroid Fusion, wasn't he? He can be a little obnoxious, but I was talking about the guy in the grey shirt. He seems to be worse than KM. :(
Dashing while the attacking animation is going on "cancels" the attack. Letting go of dash stops the dash, and you can attack again. You can see and hear he's doing that in an extremely fast pace and this allows an insane amount of damage. It's what they mean when they continue to say "Dash cancel" or "SDC".
