I request Khan academy to come up with more content on sociological thinkers because the explanation one gets here is unmatched

I think that the MCAT section should not be removed next year from the Khan Website or even from YT. Now more than ever people ought to watch these videos. It is possibly one of the most important section for education and continuing education. These are videos not taught in schools, it stands alone. A possible re naming of the subject on the website or playlist may entice knowledge seekers to go through the course.

Is this no longer required for the MCAT?

These are excellent and well worth taking a couple minutes to watch to solidify the concepts in my EXTREMELY BORING and dry sociology text. My brain thanks you!

what is the difference between Macro-sociology and Micro-sociology with Structure and Agency, I see they are often used interchangeably, but they are explained to mean different things or the same thing. Can anyone also explain the micro and macro link by Anthony Giddens who also uses Agency and Structure.

I’m trying to compare processes and premises that are equivalent between macro sociology and micro sociology level. Especially majority against minority and how majorities can force ideas upon the minority. Be it a work team or in society. Any ideas on where to find relevant info? Should I read about power?

So one difference is that from macro-level theories they’re looking for a pattern among large marco structures while micro theories is looking a a sample from the small pictures which is among studying everyday interactions between people. 🏃🏾‍♀️
