Jakob, the only reason I can think of for going back to stock is if you were going to sell it. If you're keeping it, then keep it in the condition you want to drive it. Cheers Peter
Go back to stock. I think there's value in keeping a vintage car true to origins. BTW, I say this as an owner of a modified '96 993 (lowered PSS9s). I plan to return to stock.
man i just love (and miss some new one) videos of you... vibe, sound, picture... so chill... they feel like havin a coffe on a lazy sunday and reading a classic porsche mag but in motion picture :), cant wait fo rmore content here on yt! cheers from switzerland!
Another quality video for 911 lovers! You could probably have added some more clips from your routine, such us the coffee shop you had been, or the view! Great places, great work Jacob!
Leave it as is….and make videos again! Outstanding production. Greetings from 996 & 997 owner in Minneapolis. Just looked at 993 prices and they are insane…$200k plus. You are a fortunate owner!
The 3 spoke carbon wheel is the best option while still maintaining the stock appearance so no need to change that. The 4 spoke would annoy you. It’s too big.The BBS are cool but so are a clean set of hollow spokes. If you like how it drives then keep as is and store the stock parts for the future.
To each his own-I’ve kept my 1995 Carrera stock and like the ride and the ability to enjoy it everyday if I choose (my AC works great except for those 105 F degree days at stoplights -new compressor was the trick). As for the wheels, I really would like the Cup II 17” wheels that came with my car new but the previous owner swapped them out but with 17’ wheels as wheel. I think that the 993 has such a special shape that the stock wheels fit it well (yours don’t look bad tho). My non-stock wheels don’t look right from every angle but my family is begging me not to change them.
I 911% agree with James Eli, leave the 997 as is, customize the 993 tastefully further. I'm curious to see your new rims though, what can possibly be better than those BBS's for the 993? Only ones I can think of is the same wheels with gold centers, or Magnus Walkers Urban Outlaw, take on the Fuchs also with gold centers. As always, the tunes man...
I think you did a great job on choosing proper modifications. I vote to keep it as is or like you said just change the wheels for a new look. Maybe some hollow spoke Turbo twists, for more of a factory look. 😉👍
My vote is to keep as is but if you do go back to stock, at least leave the steering wheel. The 3 spoke is great. Also, do you know which days you’ll be at Rennsport? I might make it Sunday and it would be cool to say hi.
How about option "C". Paint it the deepest and glossiest black that's out there and add chrome exhaust tips giving it a classic Porsche, black and chrome treatment. Either way, that car will always look tight. Thx for the east end B rolls.
Had stock...boring!! Lowered full suspension bits and exhaust. Still want rims, but cant decide which ones yet. My 993 4s is now my daily until I fix the M3 cooling system. Another week waiting on parts. I love driving it daily. Makes every trip an event to enjoy. Makes me smile ever gear change with the fister III's.
Jakob, I’m keeping my 96 cab stock - but that’s me. I like the way you’ve done your 4S. I particularly like the exhaust note. As a very new 993 owner I just have to know - where do you put a coffee cup? And when is the next 993 meet in the GTA? Keep the videos coming!
Hi Jakob. Excellent video! Loved the parts where you were driving through town and the engine could be heard. Leave as is or return to stock? My vote is to leave the car as is. It’s sharp looking and tasteful. It reflects what you like in a 993. If you were going to sell the 993 then perhaps a return to stock could be considered as the older a 911 becomes more value is placed upon originality. My two cents anyway ..... Cheers from Round Rock, Texas.
Back to original I say. Nothing wrong with it as it is but 993 should stay original as far as possible. Love the video and the beautiful photos. Great job...
Stock?! Man doing what YOU want to do with it is what's important. So back to stock Monroes too? lol! Hell no. Unless you track it often maybe take off the solid mounts? Otherwise you've modded it tastefully and maintain it well.
I notice you film mostly the ass of this car which looks great but do you not like the nose? I've always thought the 993 has the worst looking nose besides the 996 IMO. Do the C4S on the 993 has a wider ass than the regular 993 like it is on other 911 models? Why do you not like to turn on the AC? I know all aircooled 911 doesn't have good cold AC but I thought the 993 was decent. I think this car looks good currently with all of the right upgrades and wouldn't change it to stock. Thanks for the video, I never get tired of watching this car or the 997.
Keep the way it is, the stance was what brought me here at the first place.
LOL - Targa had to bail. Dude do NOT go back to stock - your commuter 911 is for stockness - 993 is for specialness!
Everytime I watch your videos I’m struck by how gorgeous that car is.
Thank you so much MiegmaishMenas!! :)
One vote for going back to stock. I think Porsche designers were great at what they were doing! You have to be happy though! Cheers.
This car is beautiful. It needs nothing more, nothing less.
Thanks for tuning in and thank you! :)
Keep it *exactly* as it is - including the LMs. Return to stock if you ever sell it.
Jakob, the only reason I can think of for going back to stock is if you were going to sell it. If you're keeping it, then keep it in the condition you want to drive it. Cheers Peter
For me, the 993 has one of the best lines ever within all the 911's. And these BBS wheels, man.... they were absolutely made to fit this car!
Keep it as is. Thank you for the new content.
these vids are pure ASMR
Your 993 is stunning! I’d leave it alone, including the BBS grey wheels. They look fantastic on the black car!
Go back to stock. I think there's value in keeping a vintage car true to origins. BTW, I say this as an owner of a modified '96 993 (lowered PSS9s). I plan to return to stock.
Leave it stock! One of the best looking 993 4S I have seen
man i just love (and miss some new one) videos of you... vibe, sound, picture... so chill... they feel like havin a coffe on a lazy sunday and reading a classic porsche mag but in motion picture :), cant wait fo rmore content here on yt! cheers from switzerland!
Keep it like you like it. You can always go back later.
lol loved the random guy falling dropping the coffee 😂
Car looks perfect!
Another quality video for 911 lovers! You could probably have added some more clips from your routine, such us the coffee shop you had been, or the view! Great places, great work Jacob!
Whatever you want except RWB.
Definitely do not go back to stock, looks great the way it is!

What a beautiful video !!! Looks almost like p997 michael bath. Im your big fan from now! Great car, great story, great landscape, amazing story...
Thank you! That's a great compliment! Cheers
I vote for leaving the car alone! Also, where was that 2nd location? It looks awesome

Safe travels. I'd just take care of the maintenance issues.

It’s good to see a new video on the channel 😃 I’m for a stock version of the 993😃
I think you did a great job on choosing proper modifications. I vote to keep it as is or like you said just change the wheels for a new look. Maybe some hollow spoke Turbo twists, for more of a factory look. 😉👍
I think it’s beautiful just the way it is, but of course however you feel it right. Love either way
👎🏽for going back to stock. The car looks perfect the way it is.
He's baaacckk!!
I agree with Peter Uren - if you sell it, go back to stock; otherwise, do what pleases you.
Keep your 993 the way you set it up, lowered with mods, it sweet now. This after the fact but it's my two cents.
My vote is to keep as is but if you do go back to stock, at least leave the steering wheel. The 3 spoke is great. Also, do you know which days you’ll be at Rennsport? I might make it Sunday and it would be cool to say hi.
nice 993👍

Its cool video.
Leave it alone dude. Looks a little outlaw.. it seems happy.
Yeah car has been happy for years :) Thanks for tuning in. :)

Leave it as is!
Stock for wheels, rest is top .
I had C2’s but now C4, which I prefer above 200km per hour, any thought?
Original adds the 993 character, orange indicators, original turbo rims
Cool...My orange indicators have always been on -- love them! :)
Keep the suspension and exhaust. New wheels should change your views. Maybe make the LM’s all silver again?
Supercharging it is an option you might not have considered. Look into it.
Back to original I say. Nothing wrong with it as it is but 993 should stay original as far as possible. Love the video and the beautiful photos. Great job...
Jimmy's Coffee? My Fave
I can understand changing the wheels but keep it yours, as in the way it is.
Anybody can be stock. Do it up with style👍🏻
pick on other things but not the stance just looks so good
Keep it the way it is...... :)
Looks really nice the way it is....DO NOT GO RWB!!!!! Maybe look for a Turbo whaletail but other than that keep it as is
What suspension set up do you have on your 993?
How much is a good cleane 993 under 30k miles?
Thanks for watching...I have no idea, .perhaps check how much they sell for on BAT, Autotrader, EBay, Rennlist Cassifieds, PCA Classifieds, etc?
Leave as is, looks awesome. One request for the vids, more engine less music, many thanks.
return it to original when/if you sell...
Stock?! Man doing what YOU want to do with it is what's important. So back to stock Monroes too? lol! Hell no. Unless you track it often maybe take off the solid mounts? Otherwise you've modded it tastefully and maintain it well.
Keep the 993 as is. Its your original car.
I wouldn't go back to stock unless you are going to sell the 993.
Go back stock. Keep 3 spoke steering. Raise to Europe height and go to silver rims. Make the car look like your Dad gave it to you.
As is, is where the pizazz is. Don't touch it.
Nope....Stay just the way it is!!!
I notice you film mostly the ass of this car which looks great but do you not like the nose? I've always thought the 993 has the worst looking nose besides the 996 IMO. Please do not go back stock. Leave it as-is and sell it to me!
Keep the car as is. In fact go back to the ORIGINAL aftermarket wheels you had.
Stock only if selling. Otherwise, what's the point???? Must be bored. Wish I had too many Porsches to be bored with.
Stock. Always. The calibre and class of the car now deserves it. NEVER RWB it. That is like making it into a Honda Civic.
