I had the same thing happen! Went to school in Santa Monica, during days off I hung out at 3rd Street Promenade & the pier. This sunburnt man is making a beeline toward me. He’s dragging his wife behind him. He is SO Excited, and as he runs up he’s saying “I told you it’s him! It’s him! It’s the guy from Lost!!!”
And I didn’t know who he was talking about, and I didn’t want to disappoint him! I had some sunglasses on my shirt collar, I popped those on, smiled, gave them a handshake and said thank you so much, waved and kept walking. He looked so happy 😅 I don’t want to take away his cool perspective, and hey it makes that actor seem nice, so I guess it’s a win-win
(Later on I told my friends about it & suddenly they were like “oh crap you do look like Sayed!” I think was the name lol. I still haven’t watched Lost).

@@blckrig1817 Yeah he always do more or less the same part in every movie. It is not his fault, he is a very good actor but his face is so peculiar that producers uses him always for the same roles. I hope he gets out of it and gains some main part in some movies cause he risk to be relegated as a "character actor" for life.

If you took half a second to listen, you could very obviously tell he's doing a piss poor American accent, and I'm not even American. 98% of the time, they always default to one of two voices for Americans, which is hilarious. The only one of them who had a good American accent was the American psycho guy, and then he just went right back to being shit when he played Batman. Look at the two Brits who played Spiderman or the one who did Dr. Strange. Look at the guy who played Oppenheimer. That was such a bad American accent that he went in and out of it through the whole movie. Brits are just as terrible at American accents, if not worse, than the people they constantly complain about doing bad European accents in movies. Don't get me started on when my Aussie ears have to hear a Brit butcher my accent it's mind-blowing to me because it can be so similar and they still scew it up.
He's come a long way since being the goofy kid from "we're the Millers" rapping to TLC.

Bruce Springsteen has a great story from the late 70’s when he was really starting to become famous (as was a certain young actor). Bruce was in a restaurant when he saw this woman’s face light up and he knew he’d been spotted. She made her way over to his table and said, “Al Pacino!”
