ds2 bleed works really differently tho. it just does flat dmg and reduces stamina regen, basically frost from ds3 but worse. its nice in pvp, but falls off hard in late game and ng+ and beyond
@@mkv2718 on ng+ and beyond is definitely viable since normal enemies just get bosses hp and bleed always can just speed up killing them even if it just flat 200 but even just remaking the particle effect to a burst of blood coming out will make it atleast more easy to spot on when it procced or atleast a loud blood loss sound.

As a massive fan of Dark Souls 2, finding out that you do challenge runs and find interesting ways to play this game makes me happy to be a Dark Souls 2 fan. It has its flaws definitely, but the builds are always fantastic to make. I found your Channel through looking up how powerful the Moonlight Greatsword could get and seeing how much content you have put out for Dark Souls 2 is fantastic. However as someone who has done 9 full playthroughs of this game, even speedrunning it as you do, I hope you're not burning yourself out. Even though it's the most RPG Dark Souls it can be extremely taxing to play over and over due to its length. You've earned a subscriber, but I hope you don't burn yourself out or overwork the amount of content you wouldn't make for this game.😊
Very random but today I noticed for the first time that the flexible sentry is actually a lizard. I always saw them as wearing full helmets but if you look closely it’s more like a metal neck guard, and they have lizard heads sticking out of the top

Crossbows should be seperate from the rest at least, but i do think it'd be fun to see you cycling through a repertoire of different crossbows for different situations, especially with sanctum and sanctum repeating crossbows having cool dark blast special attacks, and shield crossbow being...a shield.
DS2 was the only souls game where gimmick weapons were usable, lol While in DS1 almost every gimmicky weapon was complete garbage that no one used. Crystal butterfly shield, yeah.

I discovered an interesting way to beat the game without the flasks and stones to recover life! the build consists of using: Crown of The Ivory King Charred Loyce Set/ Loyce Set/ Ivory king Armor Butcher's Knife Wicked Eye GreatShield / Loyce Shield / Charred Loyce Shield Ring of Restoration & Ring of The Evil Eye I recommend creating a female character for this build because the effect of loyce armor, charred loyce armor and ivory king armor has the effect of recovering more hp when killing an enemy depending on the opposite gender of the character. the butcher's knife recovers life per hit on the enemy and this will ensure good survival. And the must funniest part, i discovered all this after connecting some dots about some effects here in dark souls 2 scholar of the fist sin on ps3 Well... I got a neat idea for ya yaz. A boss run. You use weapons from each boss to beat the game. Like pursuer run, flexile sentry type run. So on and so forth. Could easily pump out a few videos of those with all the bosses this game has.

2:05 the grand lance is insanely underrated. It’s not technically the best weapon in the game but it’s so early in the game, has insanely low stat requirements yet has some of the highest scaling in the game, uses regular upgrade material and does strike AND thrust damage.
Fun fact: the Forlorn is a female with no face and fromsoft chose to do the same with the Black Knife Assassins also being female with no face… oh and the forlorn Greatsword is a monster with bleed infusion.
Over the past year or so I've been making bleed builds in every soulsborne game. Dark Souls 2's version was my favorite to play with, because of the weapons used, because of how aggressive you have to play in a slower and more methodical game like DS2, and because of how you have to arrange your stats and equipment to get good bleed buildup. Both the bleed buildup and the proc itself are pretty bad, but it's still fun to go for it, and people panic a little bit when it does proc.
Putting bleed on a Ricard's rapier is absolutely nuts thank to it's unique rapid fire lunge attack to stack the bleed build-up. Though a bleed infuse Flamberge (Adding more bleed onto it's base bleed stat) is not bad either
there is a ring that counteracts health loss from hollowing by half so you only loose 25% of health instead of 50%. Its the chest near the first dragonrider where you can cheese him with 6 steps.
I did a reaper build. Used a dark great scythe with a dark shotel as a back up in small areas. I only made it cause i was told reapers are bad. I learned not to belivid everytning you hear because reapers are actually amazing. Even in pvp assuming u can avoid the parrys i felt like i was playing with a persicion weapon. I used forlorn helm hexer robers.
Fun fact that fucked up my world when I was in middle school. A group of words that have a single syllable take just a long to say as the abbreviation/acronym. "Irl" takes just as long to say as "in real life" so you save no time by shortening it unless you're typing

I havent made a scythe build in ds2 yet but my scythe build in ds1 was probably my best in the series. And it was completely accidental too. It was late game, and I came across the great scythe [if anyone remembers where it drops help me out], and I can't remember what weapon I was using before, but I used the scythe for the rest of the game, with no deviation. Until I made the greatsword of artorias, which I used throughout my ng+ playthrough.

The Ring of Binding solves the HP problem when hollowed. It keeps your HP at 75% instead of 50% when fully hollowed.
