"Discipline is something you do for yourself, not to yourself." + "If you don't take the trouble, the trouble will take you." Brilliant presentation, and essential viewing for any parent.

more like the mask in movie "V", minus the waxed moustache (or 'occupy' movement)

    What was this

Uh... I'd have to politely disagree with this guy. Nanba walking, or anti-normal walking, actually puts more metabolic stress on your body than normal walking does. This is because the body is made to perform the pendulum motion in order to help counterbalance the weight. The three month retraining it typically takes to normalize Namba actually does more damage to your pelvic, lumbar, thoracic, and spinal muscles than years of standard walking would, if done correctly. You're basically lunging an entire side of your body forward at once, which causes you to walk at a wobble rather than a straight line.

@@jhines93 I checked out "nanba walking" in Google Scholar. Most of the papers were about robotics, but of the ones about humans, I couldn't find any that warned of any harmful effects.

    Elaborate April Fool's Joke

  • @TheTonyTamer

I think this is an April Fool's Joke and I disagree that ADHD is invented - it was just undiscovered - and , though I do not like drugs as an answer for everything , ADHD may have an element of maturational change so that ritalin can help when the youth is having the hardest time with it and allow coping mitigations as they age - which are ingrained enough as adults that they can dispense with the medication.
