Ik heb ook deze auto! Wat leuk om te zien dat je er ook zo enthousiast over bent . Ik heb een blauwe cabrio uit 99, met beige lederen bekleding 😊Het is mijn eerste auto haha.
I just bought a 1998 rav4 with 100,000 km on the clock, automatic transmission and leather upholstery, it is in perfect condition, beautiful looking, ideal for young people, I think my son will be happy because it's for his 18th birthday.
What a cute and practical little SUV and so nicely preserved!!! I have a gen 2 2005 with only 130.000 kms and really love it, but these 3 door 1st gen have an incredible carisma combined with Toyota reliability!! Would love to see a remake with a larger engine and such, but I imagine the pricings would be outrageous.
Great find, someone really loved it to keep the paint in such good condition! Mines a 97 with some major clear coat issues. Beautiful example here sir. Thank you for sharing.
To be honest: we have no idea. The car came with it. I have seen several different versions of it (black, chrome, high, low...). I believe that there were several exterior options you could choose from at the dealer when it first came out. I'm not sure what they're called though. Good luck finding it! It really makes the car look better, IMO.
I had to replace the front seat belt in mine too. I just got a 3rd party retractor with a single mount point. I was able to fit the retractor in the space the old one went and used the one mount spaced out and impacted down, then reused the oem bolt for the upper mount. You gotta pull the seat out to replace the buckle but that isnt a big deal. It all looks nice and concealed but a different belt doesnt bother me, hope this helps you!

Theres no reason why it should be other than greedy manufacturers.

What's the price?
And how we found the right hand steering?
It's not for sale :-) But they go for a steady €2500-4000 nowadays here in The Netherlands, depending on how nice they are.
