For your next trick . . . launching backward, flipping upright and then flying off . . . may be easier done on a slope. I'm reading through the thread on this and planning on buying one in the near future. Planning on it being a 'travel plane'. Nice flying!
Another question, I read that when the light is blue on the model the mode is SAFE, while with red light the mode is AS3X. The thing I noticed is that when the model is in SAFE mode, the control surfaces move quickly and noticeably, while in AS3X mode you can hear the noise but they don't seem to move (unless you they move very little) is this normal in your experience? Thanks for your answer.
Thinking this might have to be my next UMX, just got the white and red WACO in the mail tonight and Already looking for another.. I don't have a problem!! If I may ask a personal preference of anybody maybe if someone had Any suggestions if i should get this guy or the Larger 1.5m Cosncendo Evo for 40$ more? Thanks! signing out From way down south in sunny but always windy san diego!
I've never flown the 1.5m version but it seems really popular. Bigger is usually better for wind but this little one does really well and if you don't want to have to take it apart to go in the transport the UMX has it's advantages.
very good skills sir..
Thank you

Nice flying!
Watch my UMX Ultrix crazy launches video
nice flight! Great catch
Thanks
oh man, sweet inverted hand launch by the way!
Thanks, it was easier than I thought it would be.
Yeah - sweet catches!
Thanks, it's a great little plane.
Looks like a lot of fun.
Sweet! Great flying! And that inverted HL was epic! Who grooms your wonderful flying spot?
Thanks Joel, Took me 3 days (couple hours at a time) with the quad to get it cleared off.
nice flying!
Thanks, sorry no new vids lately, weather is not cooperating.
That little guy scoots!
Ya, it moves along nicely. You should give one a try. Would be a perfect sloper in front of your house when the wind is coming up the hill
@@CR5rc I have a few that slope. I made one that does really well. Thanks again 👍
Another nimble little fella, bet it could handle wind too. Looks like someone groomed the entire area.
Watch out it’s going to hit you! Grab!
Know your doing good when a UMX doesn’t dust dot.
Close passes, might need a helmet 🪖
Somehow.. I pulled +16g's in -11 Celsius and I have no structural failure!

I would have to go check, I never use SAFE other than to make sure it's off. It should be written in the manual.
It's normal it's working perfectly

I have both and I always grab my UMX. So much fun. I'm a beginner though
Do you know of anybody that flies this on a 3s "250" Battery. Let me know please.
