I watch Sorin using his driver (probably one of the more expensive brands) and I always think to myself 'I want one of those'. This one here will do the same job just fine. Ordered mine already. Thanks!
thanks for doing a review on the screwdriver.... Could be a great screwdriver to remove screws from like a laptop or other devices with a lot of small screws,.... Glad you showed that it was made with some quality parts I suspect that it also has long battery life in actual usage. I like what I see :-)
This is ideal for repairing LED tiles (the likes of Absen) where you need to unscrew around 16 - 20 very small screws every time you need to remove the cover to access the board where the colour IC chips are.
Great review, Richard. I've been looking to get an electric screwdriver for a while now. This looks just the ticket. Ordered one just now. At that price it would be rude not to. Thanks for the discount code.
I would have thought in automatic mode you only have to twist the screwdriver either way to make it work without pressing any buttons? Like some other models out there. Having to press the button while twisting seems a little awkward.
Having to press the button while twisting may seem awkward at first - however it prevents inadvertent activation of the screw driver - which would soon enough become a nuisance. in use - you will soon become accustomed to the use and functionality of the screwdriver. and will recognize the benefit and the reasoning of the design. Make your mind strong - not lazy Are you in charge of your mind or is your mind in charge of you ?
The sequre products are excellent - i use their micro soldering pencil S60 for almost everything nowadays - but only buy from the sequre official shop to avoid knock offs
Thank you for the review. Looks enticing, but I don't repair things that often, a normal screwdriver will suffice for me at the moment. I do like Sequre products. I have both the S60P and S99 soldering irons at home. About the price: they are having a sale now until the 25th of July.
Perhaps I'm too much of an oldie but, in my opinion, electric screwdrivers in a "precision" environment (probably anything smaller than a PH1) are ok for quick dismantling or smacking in screws in a production environment but don't give enough feel when replacing screws in "one off" jobs. Some threads are in brass bushes, some in plastic with a lower torque requirement and most are only a few threads anyway - by the time you've fiddled with screwdriver settings you may as well have done the job manually and not accidentally stripped out the plastic thread ...
One of the nice things with this screwdriver is the torque is automatic, the more you twist the screwdriver in the direction you want to it work (screw or unscrew) the more it increses the torque. I found, like everything, you have to spend a little time getting used to how it reacts and then it just becomes intuitive. You can also change the senstivity of the screwdriver to your wrist movement in the settings. I gave this to Det to play with and he had much the same reaction to my own. If you don't do much work involving lots of screws and fittings it probably is not for you, but if you do, for example laptop or games console repair, then this tool is a real revelation and I think would save anyone a lot of time.
I had a screwdriver from Sequre it was a SQ-ES126 but i couldn't get used to it but that's just me but i liked the bits it came with they are pretty strong unlike a kit i bought with bits that broke almost immediately lol
Looks like a cheaper clone of miniwares ES15 driver. I have one an like it a lot, but it is expensive. For me the quality is worth the price but this seems like a good budget alternative.
The short time given to get to the setting bit you want might take some getting used to. But I noticed they can upgrade the software so maybe they could improve it. Then I wondered if they could give an option to do all the settings you want on a computer and flash them over, perhaps a bit ott but not for the Doctor umm, I forget his name 😂😂 An impressive tool thou and good value. Thanks Richard
I bought numerous manual screwdrivers and the bits are usually crap. They wear out after several uses, especially the T4 or T5. With a manual screwdriver when putting a screw back in to a device that uses a plastic standoff one can manually back the screw off until you feel the screw sit in the hole . You then can drive the screw in without stripping or damaging the threads. With electric screwdrivers, it will gladly drive the screw in and either create new threads or bugger up the existing plastic threads. Having to always orientate the screwdriver so that your fingers can reach the button in my opinion seems to be counterproductive. One should simply be able to twist the screwdriver in either direction. The screwdriver kit works out to be about $65 CDN delivered. Hopefully, Canadian customs does not assess taxes (12%) on top of that. Thanks for the review but going to pass on this. I have had bad experiences with sealed battery-powered tools over the years dying even after little use.

Powered screwdrivers are fine to save your wrist in some cases. I work in an electronics lab and I am always assembling and disassembling equipment to test/repair... I've actually put down the powered screwdriver and gone with a good set of ol'fashioned, good quality manual screwdrivers. I'm faster and more precise when inserting/removing up to 50 or 60 screws at a time. The only time I go with the electric is when we need precision torque settings... you can't beat the electric torque screwdriver. But it is rare that I need that. This thing appears to be a toy. iVE HAD MINE FOR OVER A YEAR AND ABSOLUTELY love it. Battery has held up and mechanically hasnt missed a beat!!

Ditto on that, bought mine after just seeing the speed change let alone the auto sensory mode. Fantastic bit of kit!

Perfect timing, I’ve been looking for an electric screwdriver and then your video came up, ordered as soon as I finished watching 🤣🤣

Why must press a button in sens mode? Without this it was genial.
Looks like the handle has too small of a diameter to be convenient. Also, the small buttons you must press on to activate would drive me nuts. Nah!
