Love my 99 Durango 5.9L SLT. Bought used with 60K miles 8 years ago and never had a problem and it has 210K miles now. Keep up the oil and fluid changes and it will last forever. Replaced a rusted break line at 195K miles. Replaced power steering pump at 190K miles and water pump at around 180K. I was going to trade it in for a pickup but decided against it. No reason for me to get stuck with payments when this beast keeps running and running and running. Mileage is about 18 a gallon city/highway.
@@iwoww562a9 Yes, I do and it now has 320K miles on it. Running super strong except one of the O2 sensors keeps giving me problems (heater circuit). No additional major repairs other than upper and lower ball joints
My great aunt used to have a Dodge Durango just like that same exterior color and same interior color and after that she had a 2011 Honda CR-V LX which is also black

can anyome tell me how to get a free owners manual. I have a 1999 durango slt. Also does anyone know about the factory security system. When I lock my doors twice it activates the alarm. When I brought the truck it didnt come with any remote control; How can I make my alarm go off to make sure that it works. I know that I have to put the key in door and turn it to the left for 30sec to deactive it. but some time that doesnt work and the alarm doesnt go off. help anyone.
You can buy a fob from basically anywhere and you use need to put the key in the ignition with the fob on the same key chain and turn the key 8 times and the fob should be programed
+jeff trainer I replaced my factory radio in my 99 Durango with a Pioneer X6500BT in about 1.5 hours. Get the right harness and a little splicing and that thing fits right in.
jeff trainer just bought 1999 dodge Durango magnum. Paid 1k in prefect condition and that thing has power. Can u tell me any info on them. I can't find this exact model for sale anywhere. Trying to know worth but i am going to keep it
You can put any single din radio with a reducer plate. You can fit double din with some mods to the outer plastic of the dash, which you already have out to get to the radio anyway.
* * I bought mine too for $800 back in May! I still have it. I thought it was a bogus car my ex husband got me to buy. Im just now looking at the videos and I am amazed.
Alisha Johnson yeah it's definitely a beast! The person I bought it from put an upgraded exhaust (flow master) on it. The V8 magnum platform is sound! I'll probably get 300,000 miles out of it! Just wish it got better mpg lol
* * Look i have to replace my battery, my gas cap and get a caution fan cover and Ill be ready to roll. Im so anxious!! Lol it sound like its an awesome car!

I have a question I changed the plugs.wires.cap, and rotor on my 99 Durango and it still has this weird hesitation and vibration when I’m driving like it’s holding back it’s not severe but you feel you let off the gas and it smooths out.next question what’s the alternative to the 31-10.50-15

My Dodge Durango 1999 bought new.... now 2019 with 213,450 miles no problems
I’m at 303000
