I did like the manga but the anime still tops it. I liked that manga Yusei had more expressions, not that I dislike his stoic self in the anime. I would call him a Gary Stu, kinda want to but YGO MCs gotta stay winning I guess. Now Jack, he was an arrogant rival but colder, ruthless, unlike both of his anime counterparts (5Ds and ARCV anime). He didn’t reminisce about his old days, he didn’t care about anyone but himself. He just wanted win. I think the only one he showed any bit of respect was Kiryu (Kalin) around the end. Crow is Crow. The twins, I like how Rua (Leo) and Ruka (Luna) are capable pair duelists and have some wins under their belt. Now Aki, I like how she and Sherry have a past together whereas in the anime, they made it seem like those 2 would be rivals when they first met. Nope, just Aki saves Sherry in the final arc of the anime. Speaking of saving, manga Aki become a “damsel in distress” around the end of the manga, while in the anime, she needed saving. Oh yeah, Aki had 2 rivals in the manga, I believe the other was named Ran. What annoyed me during the WRPG arc is that everyone was sorry while a majority of the wins is thanks to Yusei…. He would always come out unscathed especially when up against the Norse Gods and Meklord Emperors while Jack and Crow, suffered a ton, getting sent to the ER. And Aki, oh my days, why were those 3 so weak!? 😭 They’re capable duelists!! Maybe I do want to call him a Gary Stu this time. We want to see the support/side characters win as well.
One of the coolest moments in the manga was seeing the Bonds Beyond Time cameo when Yusei was asked if he wanted to duel with the Kings of Games (Yugi & Jaden ) against Paradox in one of the timelines shown to him
Last time I checked, most of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga’s besides the original, come after the anime, so it’s really the manga is different from the original.
Look, I understand why the anime studio made those changes. You have to remember that this was "technically" a kid show. I don't think kids would love the "Oh, I captured kids and made them my guinea pigs for the shits and giggles" angle.
Yeah, the manga for GX and every other series after were made after the anime. You can find the details in the GX manga, but basically the Naoyuki Kageyama showed his first draft to his editor and they scrapped it saying just redrawing the anime would be boring so they should do an entirely different story.
I wise Konami should have add Sect and Ran kobayakawa appearance in Yugioh 5ds Anime. Sect could have join yusei as Rival, Friend and brother figure. Ran kobayakawa would have become Akiza izinski Stronger Rival in Duel Academy that can give Akiza a real tough challenge. Ran kobayakawa would have Battlewasp deck and go toe to toe with Akiza plant deck. And push Akiza to her limits forward and improvement of her skill.
Initially crow was supposed to be the last dark singer but because blackwing archetype became so popular in the TCG that is why they made Crow a support character
they’d have no real way on confirming this because of the time 5d’s was airing was too close to the very early edition of blackwings in the ocg and tcg. Meaning they wouldn’t even have a proper time frame to view sales data for months that they just did not have here.
@@metis7534 Not to mention an archetype or carfs being good usually doesn't affect its prominence in the anime (I think Firewall Dragon in Vrains is one of the only exceptions since that thing was extremely overpowered pre-errata).
Not like anyone is forcing you to read it if you don't like it. I don't like the GX manga, but I don't say that it shouldn't have been made, as I respect those who enjoy it, and I know the anime is the main version in any future reference to GX anyways. Outside of Sevens referencing a cover from 5Ds manga on Nail's pasta advertisement, and some voicelines in Duel Links, it has no relevance, so I don't see why it shouldn't exist.
@@genyakozlov1316 well the reason I think it shouldn't of been made is it because the manga storyline is just bad for starters the whole plot of yusei trying to save his little friend Sect is not that interesting because he is just a tool to set up the storyline of the manga so there no reason to really care about Sect character , the duel dragon are just not that interesting or special since there are a bunch of duel dragons in the manga and anyone can get a duel dragon as well as the fact that it not like Leo, Luna, Akiza and crow duel dragons are that special or unique and in some cases with some of their duel dragons they are weaker version of their signer dragons that they would have in the anime and the way the manga just disrespect leo, luna and akiza is just irritating with the manga having Akiza losing to Yusei made up little friend because of plot reason, to how the manga give Leo this big tragic backstory only so he duel in two duel against yusei that he was never going to be able to win and then just treating leo like a joke through out the whole manga when he was on screen and the annoying part is how the manga treat yusei friend Sect with way more respect than leo, luna akiza giving him way more better duels in the manga and even giving him an upgrade form to his duel dragon which I thought was ridiculous since Akiza, Leo and Luna deserved to have some type of different form to their duel dragons in the manga and while I know this manga is not really cannon to the 5d anime itself the reason I say it shouldn't of been made is I feel that a better manga storyline should have been made for 5d

Reminder that Andre defeated Jack AND Akiza, and Yusei had to win vs Team Unicorn from 1v3 down

I liked the manga, its pretty cool. 5D's is my fav YuGiOh show
Last time I checked, most of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga’s besides the original, come after the anime, so it’s really the manga is different from the original.
The mangas are a different continuity than the anime. Example dsod takes place after the manga and has 0 correlation to the anime
Both the YGO 5D’s anime and manga were good
Look, I understand why the anime studio made those changes. You have to remember that this was "technically" a kid show. I don't think kids would love the "Oh, I captured kids and made them my guinea pigs for the shits and giggles" angle.
I’m pretty sure the anime actually came out before the manga the only one in the yugioh series where the manga came first is the original DM

Check out yugioh Vrains plot lol
5ds wasn't aimed to kids but teens + anime came before manga

2:48 the most one-sided rivalry
Thank you for the video! 😍😍
THE GOAT HAS RETURNED🗣️🗣️🗣️
However the English DUB of the anime cut out at least 30 Japanese episodes so I'm not sure if the ENGLISH MANGA is complete because of that.
Never realized you had 5k subs, it’s a lot but the content you make I thought you had 50k+ 😂
Your voice is so easy to listen too
Can do the difference between Yugioh Zexal?
I would really be happy to see review the manga like gx
There will be one for sure!
@@AnimeHiro thanks man
Please make a minute video about the anime😊
bro case closed ost 😭😭😭
Hey Serienreviewer how's going my friend
They retooled the classicism plot for Arc V and it just was forgettable af. Wish they kept it in 5D’s
BAN-KAI????
You should do arc 5 manga vs. The anime because arc 5 manga was better then the anime
Personally I liked the manga better
Initially crow was supposed to be the last dark singer but because blackwing archetype became so popular in the TCG that is why they made Crow a support character
Cite that source
Yeah im sorry, I’ve heard that rumor before but I’ve never seen any credibility given to it, multiple TH-camrs have debunked that theory as well.

I want to read the 5ds manga but i was told was boring
Bro fr. The 5ds manga was interesting. But the manga felt flat when telling a deep and compelling story.
Not as good as the GX or Zexal Manga
here the biggest difference between the anime of 5d and the manga of 5d and that is the manga is terrible and it just shouldn't of been made
