Bonjour Mr Feldman! Merci pour toutes vos belles chansons qui ont bercé mon enfance à la fin des années 80's et mon adolescence dans les 90's! Que de souvenirs!
Vous ai connu en 86-87 avec "Rien Que Pour Toi" (ma préférée et celle que j'aurais voulu qu'il démarre sa "first time"), Slave (magnifique!), Je Te Retrouverai (celle que j'adore le plus de 1988), Le Mal De Toi (un bijou!), Joue Pas aussi que j'ai le plus attendu de vous et vu cette semaine, C'Est Toi Qui M'A Fait ( quel son!! Je pense qu'il l'aimera aussi), Petit Franck ( mon père m'avait acheté le 45 Tours dans une "nouvelle version) et votre album "Magic'Boulvard" ( le plus réussi des 90's!) avec Le Serpent Qui Danse et le titre éponyme un bijou avec la regrettée Annie Girardot et bien sûr Joy en 1992. Merci aux personnes qui vous ont demandé même si j'avais parlé de vous à Dereck depuis un bail, il l'a fait enfin!
Il y en aura d'autres ainsi que d'autres chansons 80's que nous lui proposons (il adore!), il a même fait 2 fois votre camarade Desireless de la tournée 80's. Cordialement.

il y avais Carole Frédericks qui à continué sa carrière avec Jean-Jacques Goldman une très grande artiste aussi paix à son âme
Oui à l'époque une des choristes les plus demandées et dont on entend la voix sur une chanson du premier album studio "Cendres De Lune" de Mylène Farmer "We'LL Never Die" si je ne me trompe pas. Chanson aussi présente sur la compil' "Dance Remixes" sortie en 1992 en première piste dans une version Techno Remix.

This song was originallly planned to be performed with Carole fredericks but she was called by jj Goldman to work on the upcoming trio fredericks Goldman Jones so she had no Time to record this duet with François Feldman and he called instead Janice Jamison (who also worked with Goldman on his 85 tour)
Joniece Jamison is such a GREAT singer ! And Feldman is very underrated today, but he was a king of the french charts during the period mid 80's-mid 90's. He's a very good dancer too! The beat of this song is so good... Can't do anything but dance on it.

i just commented for the same song! but zook machine is not french, it is zook-style music sung in Creole from Guadeloupe. But it was such a "french" experience to hear zook music on radio back in the 1980, 1990... would be nice to see him reacte to a number of Zook music hits...

He did several true hits like "Les valse de Vienne" (The waltzes from Vienna) or "C'est toi qui m'a fait" (It was you who made me). A great voice and his own universe. Thank you for this video !

"Joue Pas" (Don'T Play) a very good song with Joniece Jamison an American female chorister born in Baltimore for French and international artists at the time (Eurythmics, Elton John, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Daniel Balavoine, etc..), funk sounds and guitar riff in the beginning taken from his "Une Présence" second album, one million copies sold and second in Top Albums at the time, his most big success! Diamond Disc in 1991 ("J'Ai peur" in a new version with Joniece Jamison too).
The single was No.2 in Top 50, the most weel known song of François Feldman, 400 000 copies sold and gold disc.

Hey Dereck, a very typical french experience all over the world including in france, is to have been exposed to creole Zook music on french radio in the 1980s and 1990s, and some of these artists made it big time commercially back then as well... even continental africans we big listening to zook music. Interrestingly, creole language is not too difficult to decipher because it borrows heavily from French, maybe that's why we had it often on french radio. She sadly passed away years ago, on stage. She was with Jean-Jacques Goldman in his band with herself along with Michael Jones called Fredericks Goldman Jones...
