They left out tracks that perhaps they felt didn’t fit the vibe of the album in one way or another, despite them still being great. This shows a commitment to artistic integrity and is a stark contrast to other rappers’ tendency to bloat their albums with a bunch of filler tracks that don’t flow together or have no thematic cohesion whatsoever
Also respect artists who understand that an album is a catered experience, and not just putting 30 garbage tracks in a single cd.

That's one of the very important rules of a classic, it has to be cohesive from start to finish in terms of sound, content, and it's genre
what i love about this and the original album is that danny and peggy didn't just make amazing music, they had fun while doing it

Seeing these two Collab has me me want a massive underground group album hahah. Thinking like Peggy, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, Redveil, Denzel Curry, Billy Woods/Elucid, some Griselda gang sprinkled in there, Navy Blue, Mach Hommy, etc. I've always dreamt of a group like that. Many different perspectives, styles, cutting edge production to back it, etc as an ultimate celebration of the newer wave doing their own thing. Obviously a pipe dream, but I do miss when 3-5 man groups were a major force.
Guess what I am waiting for is the next modern day supergroup like Odd Future or Brockhampton but with more artistic grit and experimentalism. The chemistry of multiple people coming together to lend to a unified vision is some of the most hype shit in rap.
Not the same thing but backwoodz studioz released a compilation earlier this year that is pretty good

I don’t think this review properly prepared me for what this DLC Pack has to offer. All the interlude-style instrumentals, and that spoken word bit at the end… so powerful. Wish the whole album was structured more like this
This is one of the best duo’s I’ve ever heard in hiphop. The chemistry is up there with Premier & Guru, Big Boi & Andre3k, Dre & Snoop and many other legends.
I sincerely hope they continue to collab, one of the most exciting projects I’ve heard in years

the way i see it the first three cuts didn’t fit the vibe of the main album and “No! x 26”, with its acappella outro, benefitted from the extra breathing room of being on an ep
edit: just hit the end of the video, pretty sure peggy and danny confirmed they’d be working on volume 2 while on tour later this summer
