Zeroskatr: Pragmatism is an incredibly strong defense option into Yennenga's entire deck. Also Zeroskatr: *proceeds to throw away two Pragmatisms and use his third only in garbage time.*
Finally! matchup of the month is here!! Thank you for the games. Personally, I like the idea of the character (Oda) but I don't think it was done well. And you were in an anti-ranged map...
Oda is counter intuitive because you can't tank with the Honor Guard, you have to tank with Oda and try keep the honor guard in the rear. Make it as hard as possible for them to be attacked.
love your content,I'm looking forward for more videos. Also, have you tought about posting character guides?(I can't get a grasp on how to play black panther)
@sile4198 thanks! Honestly though I don't have enough time for character guides. They would take so long each one and there are just so many characters in the game 😅
Now, what about hamlet vs. yennenga? Ik hamlet isn’t exactly top tier like yennenga but with all his “if the opposing fighter played a versatile card” I feel like it would be very interesting with all of yennenga’s purples.
@ApplPne that is an interesting thought. All those versatiles might give Hamlet a chance! Though generally Hamlet doesn't like sidekicks which Yen has plenty of and also Yen is just so tanky that I'm not sure Hamlet will be able to kill her before fatiguing.
at 1:11:00 wasn't the honor guards shift a value of 4 bc of odas passive or am i wrong? not like it would have mattered too much hahaha also red was a better pointer color than the grey hehe
@@zeroskatr12 ohhhh i forgot that's how the doors work! really tough map for that matchup hahaha. poor oda! love these matchups man keep em comin! when you get the time lol
A nice matchup me and my friend played is yennenga against tomoe. Umbd says 50% win rate, but only out of 8 matches. I felt yennenga was stronger, but still an interesting matchup. I would love to see a matchup of the month with them.
@jakobremes13 I have played that one once and it was a fun one! I remember feeling good about it as Yen, though there are very few matchups I don't feel good about as Yen 😂
I have a question, it is said in rules that each of your fighters can attack an adjacent target, does that mean that I can attack both with my hero and my sidekick in terms of 1 attack action or not?
No, you can only make 1 attack per action. Each of your fighters being able to attack an adjacent target just gives you the option to choose between one of the two
As the brother/son of the 2v2 winners at Origins (I also got to win 3-0 with this strategy) I can confirm Oda and Strange are broken. Like run Bigfoot out of defenses (which I followed up with a 5 health Raggador healing both Strange and Oda) broken. Or kill Wukong in 2 turns broken (at tournament too). Counters to this strategy. T-Rex on a small map, and have her blitz down Strange. Oh wait, Wong can use both Balthakk and Raggador? NVM, DO NOT LET THEM TEAM UP EVER AGAIN!!!
@Bruhzo basically Wukong gets to keep making clones at the cost of 1hp and Bigfoot being Melee has no easy way of getting through them. Therefore he ends up wasting many cards just attacking clones most of the game. Even on the few chances he can actually reach Wukong Bewilderment and Chain Mail will block it.
Who can Oda beat? I feel like the Suns Origin match is rather fair, as I have won with bothe. But that was against less experienced players, so it might not count I think Tomoe is stronger, but Oda is slighteltely more interesting. However me personally love tomoe for her cool abilitiy, cards and card art
@tobiasnenseter8044 I also think Oda is cool it's just sad how weak he is in 1v1. I haven't played him into too many matchups but he is actually good into Tomoe so the in-box matchup is fun.
@@zeroskatr12 I can also see him being very strong is a more casual setting, were people do not know exactly how to play every matchup. I guess one can say that for many characters, but I feel like Oda has more going for him, than Jekel and Hyde or other "weaker" fighters
worth noting that, if someone double attack the honnor guards, and you use spring the trap first and swap, Momentous shift becomes a 6 block value
Smart
It's been a pleasure to meet you in person and give you this special character sheet card :D

@mikotagayuna8494 haha yes in theory the card is incredible. But in practice Yen just doesn't ever attack Oda, which makes it useless :P
In today’s news: Yennenga beats an opponent in fatigue. Join us tomorrow for the same news again.

@papacraig4865 actually it was not because the door cuts off the zone. But yeah it wouldn't really matter. And I do like Red as well haha

How did Chad use Surprise Volley to return an Archer to Yen’s zone at 1:02:35 ?
@owenreece3554 that was a mistake. Good catch!

@benb.6358 thanks! That's actually a track chosen by my editor Darkblade113. I'll have to ask him.
Hey Zero, did you use Vanish or what ? 😅 Last MotM was soooooo long ago

I have a question, it is said in rules that each of your fighters can attack an adjacent target, does that mean that I can attack both with my hero and my sidekick in terms of 1 attack action or not?
I tried to read rules in different languages and it does not seem that any of those specify this feature

@Bruhzo oh my gosh Bigfoot gets destroyed, that would be miserable 😅
