Hello Ben…466 is UHF…I mounted my uhf radio under the left(RHD) centre kick panel and have the mic with all the controls sitting in the centre consule hidden from view..I routed the cables through the centre consul and have a Through the glass antenna at the top of the windscreen.that I had to mount between the wires of the heated screen..it works well and does not make the interior look busy…So I don’t have cables all over the place..Here in Aus we have software called Ozziexplorer that runs the same as you have with a seperate gps bluetoothed to a laptop that shows all the off road track in the outback of Aus..I been using this for many years…Hope you can get away soon for some off-roading as it does make you feel good!🙂

I hit the trails with @SamsMotors just the other day, sat nav worked a treat, and we used the handhelds for communications, it was a great time. Video to come along at some point.

What thickness is the mounts for iPad ?

Not sure without measuring them, a guess would be 5-6mm.
