This is my favourite Police Academy, and in my top 40 movies. In my mid teens, i watched this film daily for months. The original is my second favourite, and PA 6 is my third favourite.
The reason i love it so much isn't about the humour, it's a fun, easy to watch film, with a fun feel, familiar characters. Sure, my favourite films are the original Halloween and Die Hard, but just to chill, this is perfect to watch.
Back when it was first aired on U.K. television my now brother in law had taped it and i swear to god every single time i went round with a different movie he go off on one saying “citizens on patrol” “put it on” “ no i want citizens on patrol” over and over again repeatedly until either my now mother in law would give or i think to myself fuck it,let the little cry baby have what he wants. He’s now 48 years old and denies ever acting like that.
He does a lot of stand-up and film/tv directing these days and has a series on truTV. You also often find him cropping up on podcasts - anything with Dan Harmon or Marc Maron usually. Funny guy with a bunch of good Police Academy stories to tell.
@@INDEFENCEOF check it out, I think you'll like it. I believe some of the producers of PA are involved it definitely plays like the original Police Academy and I think a chainsaw was shown

What ever happened to Bobcat Goldthwait?

He became Bobcat OLDthwait, heh heh heh
If this video was a "defence" of something, I wouldn't want this chap as legal council.
Moving Violations from 1985 used the hockey mask joke (wasted my youth watching cable)
Never seen it, looks like it's the same folks who made Police Academy! Is it specifically hockey mask & chainsaw or just the mask?

This’d never happen now we live in a boring woke humorless world. Pile of shit now.
