My son passed away aged 6yrs 11 months in 2009. His bedroom stayed the same until we moved home in 2012. I still have his teddy bear which hasnt been washed, because it still smells of him, his glasses still have his fingerprints on. My clothes are still stained from the blood when they were trying to revive him. You don’t wash anything of a child you have lost. Poor little girl x

I’m a pediatrician and my husband is a paramedic. Being a medical professional does not harden you to the death of your own child. The agony is immediate and never goes away. 5 years later I still cry every day, I still have clothes in a plastic bag to retain her smell. Laura had many medical problems, we knew she wouldn’t outlive us, and we had her for 32 years and none of that made any difference to degree of grief. 💕🐝💕

I took my godson on holiday to Portugal around this time both before and after this incident and would have never considered leaving him.
Also the culture there can be so family friendly. They make a big fuss over kids when they eat out, children sleep in prams etc if needed. I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to take your children out with you on a family holiday.

    • @ITSME-sx1oz
      @ITSME-sx1oz 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@smooshie4210 I agree, but I think the McCanns thought it was ok to mix a family/mates holiday. The consequences of that decision were children left alone at a very young age, in an unlocked room, out of ear shot of their parents, which resulted in the loss of one of those children. We have no idea at this time how Madeleine McCann went missing, but her parents would like to push us up the abduction route without proof or logic. Each and every one of the parents at that restaurant is guilty of neglect regardless of whose children were whose and even Madeleine, a baby, questioned her own parents when she spent 45 minutes the previous night crying for them, that in my mind is a girl who was fed up of being left alone and frightened. In my view, no one checked on those babies at regular intervals, they were left to it. And the fact that the McCanns protect themselves before opening their minds to all the possibilities of their daughter's mysterious disappearance is staggering and inhumane

If these individuals were "common people" they would be in jail. Unbelievable... The main inspector of the case (Mr Amaral) knew that almost since day 1. I am a great admirer of Goncalo Amaral, and I think that it would be fair for Goncalo Amaral to receive substantial compensation from the Portuguese government for being unjustly removed from office, causing emotional and financial distress for him while he proved irrefutable evidence and resolved the case! The Portuguese government should never have allowed themselves to be put under such a pressure by the British (Gordon Brown) in 2007 because everyone involved Portuguese Police and Leicestershire police knew that Amaral was right beyond any doubt!

Theres no way i would wash anything, especially my sons things. Jerry could have concrete photographic SA dirt on Dave etc. Whilst Ms McCann would have liked a burial in an obvious place. Jerry is too calculated and logical. He would have turned Maddie to ashes or at the very least buried her somewhere no one would even look to find, somewhere so discreet. It’s Jerrys mastermind and the uk government cover up. What stood out to me was that when Kate realised Maddie had "been taken from the room", She LEFT the twins AGAIN to go back to the restaurant to let everyone know that maddie had disappeared. If you just noticed your child had been taken, whyyyyyy would you leave TWO of your other children yet again to go back to the restaurant?? It doesn't make any sense.
The parents also refused to answer several questions when questioned by the police.
Billions of funding has gone into searching for her and when "potential maddies" have come forward, believing to be her... the victims have been more eager to get the DNA carried out than the Mccans. It's like they knew already that there was no chance of finding her alive.
How did they get to keep the twins? They neglected their kids in a foreign country.. I believe there is way more to this family and the actual events. Everything just seems off. The parents are odd and their stories have never been consistent.
Also, very convenient that the blame got shifted onto the paedo from Germany when he was convicted for other crimes. I believe the parents are guilty.

Nothing is " normal" about that case. The parents accusing Mr. Goncalo Amaral making money on Madeleine with his book, while the parents still making money due to people donating and getting funded by the english taxpayers money. Mr Amaral has and had no reasons to lie. The parents have many. I personally think Mr Amaral was pretty spot on.

The parents aren't funded by tax-payer monies. Don't be silly. The public donations go to the Madeleiene Fund, a not-for-profit company, to which Kate McCann sent more than half a million quid from sales of her 2011 book. The fund's website lists what the monies will be spent on.

Exactly, they defend the decision instead which is insane. Even in situations where it truly isn't a parents fault a child died/went missing they STILL blame themselves. I've heard parents of abducted children who were abducted just walking somewhere and the parents are full of guilt for even letting their child walk 2 blocks at a much older age. Or simply having them in the car when there was an accident that lead to death. Even when it truly isn't the parents fault they go out of their way to blame themselves. Not these parents. They fully admit to neglect and DEFEND it.

After a week of intens work in Praia da Luz-July-2007, Mark Harrison presented the results of his study regarding the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. He confirmed his conclusion, which was also feared by those who had intensively collaborated with him...
The most plausible scenario is/was the following: there is no doubt that Madeleine is dead, and her body is/was hidden somewhere in the area around Praia da Luz. He praises the quality of the work carried out by the Portuguese Police and authorities in trying to find the little girl alive.
According to him, the time has come to redirect the searches in order to find this time the hidden body in the surrounding area.
These were the research results of Mark Harrison 17 years ago, which could possibly and hopefully be revived with the publication of Bernt Stellander's book, " The Sudden Impulse."

I recently went to Cuba and a 4 year old child was in the corridor crying his eyes out asking in spanish where his parents were - it was heattbreaking and i couldn't sleep the entire night. In the room there were more children sleeping. Thankfully other spanish speaking guests at the hotel took him to the main reception. Turned out the parents were out at the disco on site having a great time drinking and they left their kids alone all night in the room. The child was safe but as the family weren't tourists they were locals i was told this is the usual behaviour of parents when they take their kids to a resort.. absolutely shocking to see this behaviour as recent as July 2024.

A couple of years ago both myself and husband had sprained our ankles and torn ligaments within a week of each other. Anyways, i collected my children from school, i got out of the school gate and realised my 7 year old little boy was no longer with me. Now the grounds were empty because i could barely walk and it took me forever. I panicked instantly! I RAN screaming all the way around the school! I rang my husband who ran to school on his foot. Luckily hed just decided to run back to tell his friend sometimes and his teacher had actually taken him to the other gate to find me. I was a wreck for what was the longest 5 mins of my life. The way she acted was never right.

I just searched for the book The Truth of the Lie by Amaral and asked if it was still banned in the UK . And the co pilot information said that the government issued gag orders on British newspapers to prevent any reports or snippets about the book . And that the government had initially tried to ban the book altogether in the UK . I find that very interesting and extremely suspicious that the current government of the time would be involved at all , let alone to the extent of trying to ban this book .

Perhaps because Graham Hill, "a detective superintendent and senior investigating officer with knowledge about predatory child sexual abusers and non-familial child abduction" who was sent out by CEOP when Goncalo Amaral reached out to the organization, had told the McCanns days after she was reported missing that if a sexual predator had taken Madeleine, then she was likely dead within 3 to 6 hours. Per the stats. CEOP = Child Exploitation Online Protection Centre.
