I .over CDM yachts, Aurelia was obviously a favorite of mine. Sea Wolf and the upcoming Archipelago look extremely nice. While I love Nordhavn, I have to say that in terms of interior finishes, they lack that anesthetic that makes you want to show it off. Granted that's not the purpose of these yachts, but something so special should at least look like it. That is what the Itakians do best. And CdM is known for customization ability, but the Darwin is where they hold the line as opposed to the Flexplorer. The Darwin is full production and the layout is pretty much the layout, but...it is that way because it has everything set up that you could possibly need and changing it might mean removing something you don't want moved. Like you can have a stateroom sacrificed for storage and cold storage if you want. That's hard core exploring there. That's me, the wife the kids and a couple of crew...anyone can piss off and buy their own yacht. Deuces! Lol.

Great presentation of the Darwin 86,after 54yrs on the sea I would have zero fear of taking her to sea,ease her back in a head sea, she will get you there.Exceptional vessel.

I think if you and your guests have enough experience, then there's no reason why you could not operate it with four people without the need for crew.
