For such a beloved composer, it’s no surprise Mozart’s music has been featured in so many films. One piece in particular has become known as “The Elvira Madigan Concerto” after being featured in the 1967 Swedish film “Elvira Madigan.” This piece is officially known as the Andante movement from Mozart’s “Piano Concerto No. 21.” Mozart composed the piece in Vienna when he was 17. It has since been featured in other major films, including “The Spy Who Loved Me” and “Superman Returns.”
