Actually Billy did write an autobiographie around 2003 or 2004. And he published it in his website back then for free. I remember reading most of it but after a while it had disapeared and never came back online. The only thing I remember is one chapter about him sleeping with a woman in the Siamese Dream record studio at night. And I think there was some story about partying with Marilyn Manson on drugs but I'm not sure about that one.

Did Joe being abused or neglected get him his role on NewsRadio, which led to everything else he has achieved in his career? I wonder if his dad was jealous OR just unimpressed or unenthusiastic about it because he didn’t want his son’s success to go to his head and it was his unique way of teaching his son humility as it’s a good parents job to keep your kids grounded & help them to learn that they are no more important than the rest of us. His dads lack of excitement for Billy’s success may also be due to the fact that he doesn’t want his son to get a big head or think he’s bigger than Dad; like hey man, I’m still your Dad, don’t get carried away here, like don’t think your above me, cuz I’m still your dad & I made you and fed you and raised you so your not special here - And this nonchalant attitude might have been a way to make Billy try even harder and do his very best for his Dad to gain acknowledgement or gain some sort of attention or recognition from his Dad which might help KEEP Billy moving forward for the LONG RUN so Billy won’t ever settle for his first taste of admiration and instead keep doing his best or better & not get too comfortable with what he’s already accomplished so he will have a career that will last while continuing to challenge himself along the way and avoid the temptation to just hang in the moment of success and instead keep expanding to achieve an even bigger potential so he doesn’t become complacent and instead reach higher levels. Can I also say that it's great hearing these stories because it makes others like me feel OK knowing there are kindred souls out there who can relate. Only my husband of 30 plus years who had seen some of it from the inside knows you can't make this shit up.
