MSB One of the best bands ever, I would put them in the top 50 of all time. Michael was such a prolific writer and a very underated vocalist. Saw them in Milwaukee, They opened with this song. What a show, They absolutely brought down the house
Thank you for doing this cover. I grew up in Ohio and was a huge fan of MSB. I went to every concert I could. Michael Stanley's passing hit me very hard.. i moved to NC but still rocked out to MSB. I am a HUGE fan of yours and I cant tell you how much an artist of your calibre covered a great local hometown artist.. thank you from the bottom of my heart

Cool Beanos. My father was friends with Ted Lensner and in high school and after Ted was in the bad with Michael. My dad was the only one that had a reel to reel tape deck that recorded. So the band brought their musical instruments and other things with them. He then came over and recorded a few songs for record labels. My dad is Charles Wilson.
My first concert of his was at Stambaughs in ytown. My friend Tom (RIP))looked up on stage,,saw a Mike and a chair and let me know what a treat this was going to be. WOW 👏,, RIP MICHAEL STANLEY
Being a lifelong Clevelander and growing up my parents listened to 98.5 wncx and Michael Stanley was one of the DJs and this song was played often over the airwaves and since Michael Stanley was from Cleveland it made me even more proud that I'm from Cleveland. Eric Church nailed it and I'd think that Michael Stanley would be pleased with him preforming in Cleveland for us Clevelanders.
He said they'd never played it together. It's way better than the Metallica cover. No one will ever sing like Michael. I like EC so props to him for the effort.
