Great drone footage here! I was out paddle boarding on a high tide the other day and ended up helping the RNLI rescue a car that got stuck which made for an interesting video! 🌊🚙🏄🏼
Has anyone ever thought about putting up a counter at each end of the Strood, numbering the idiots who break down every time they chase a high tide? Just saying....
Oh my days!! If I broke down with all that water around me they’d have to bring an undertaker never mind a tow truck!!!! I’m a wimp- I’d never risk it!! The lorry at the end looks like it’s swimming!!! Dearie me!!!
Why are the authorities not putting an end to this dangerous nonsense once and for all by raising the level of the causeway way above the high tide level & why are the people who live in this area not campaigning for this to be done ? Do they derive pleasure by committing these dangerous acts? There may be costs involved but in the long term would be far less than that caused by the salt water damage to vehicles & the endless drain on the emergency services who have to resuce those & their vehicles who get caught out by the tide.In my opinion & that of the majority this would be money well spent & should come out of the national flood defence budget which is for this very purpose.
Looks like only one car broke down,,,so what's all the fuss about? The ones who made it weren't so crazy...maybe smart. You can skip the dramatic music (annoying)

Is it like Osea island
Tíattah is Cupcakecandy, Kätänäh no it’s not
looks good buddy. I do enjoy flying over the strood at high tide. Also have a Phantom 4
Mersea island is the Lindersfarm/ Holy island of the south & is the 2nd longest in the UK.
Simply buy a Tide Time Table....and arrive at the Strood at least one hour before high tide......simple !
I wonder jut how long it will to eat their box sections.
Nice video Craig! :-)

Man I love living here
What time of year would the High Tides be? Spring tides?
All year round
Spring tides are higher. In this location it means it takes longer for the road to clear.
Is this in essex
Hi, yes it's Mersea Island near Colchester
@@craigmoorcroft950 Strood, I thought this was Kent at first tll watching. Didn't realise that it referred to the road name.
Salt water. Omg that can’t be good for the vehicle, and what if the roads washed out under that water?! It must get repaired a lot!
Salt water is a killer. Never buy a car from Mersea!
wdym not mersey's fault
Same as buying a car from Felixstowe
"All right boys.. Get yer waders on!"
Didn't believe when my boyfriend told me about this, this video helps haha
Do Bob's have boyfriends? 🤔
@@notmanynamesleft short for Roberta.

Fords and Mercedes sprinters wouldn’t last 6 months back and fore there 😂
Not only trying but succeeding we made it even past a bloke broke down
Am I a little bit evil or did anyone else feel a little bit satisfied when they saw the broken down car! Ha ha ha.
MarcusTDM No, that is narcissistic
Nope. Just like I wouldn't if I saw you broken down in a layby on the A12.
WhY DoEsNt MeRseA MaKe ThE sTrOoD TaLlER
I think i have u covered with sandbox just need to take a picture of mersey and then make strood taller
Don’t like the loud music but like the video
nice to see the flashy light and depth signs that some idiot wasted our money on is working predictably well.
foolish, just a flimsy wooden fence to stop them going over in to the sea
Why Samsung ringtones are in this videos.
Fare un ponte più alto no????????
