Its incredible and hes probably my favorite player, but it'll never be mainstream. At least not in my lifetime.
It's not mainstream because they are too good for mainstream listeners to get.
"Mainstream" is made up of primarily the least common denominator of music listening audiances.
Not bright. Hell.....Shinedown, Nickleback and Limp Biscut were pretty popular mainstream bands. Out some blame here.......lol
Mainstream is usually crap, what you mean is : "why it isn't more known among musicians and music aficionados ."

This is amazzzzzzing. All 3 superb. And as for the guitar player, simply the best iv ever seen.
I've literally watched this video like 80 times since they released it.. I've had a few beers but I can honestly say that this is one of the best performances of any song I've ever seen, all three of these guys are masters of their craft.

The drummers face at 1:50 is my favorite - he's just like "daaaaammmmn that's tasty" But wow that bass player is a monster. Huge props!
The 3 of them are absolutely phenomenal. Bass solo was sick! Had to replay that 3 times... Guy on guitar is obviously incredible. His playing style is very clean and smooth. Drums were sick... I was bobbing my head along to it.
I can't even express my love for this guitar playing....I want to learn how to play so flawlessly like Mr. Mancuso....its ridiculous....I thought his yt videos were nice....but this is on a DIFFERENT level....bless him....and I hope I hear FREAKIN AWESOME music from him....bless you....Matteo

With so many awesome technical musical wonders out there and YT to remind us constantly what is achievable by this select band, there now has to be something extra-special to stand out. I would say this is it. The drummer and bassist play exquisitely. Matteo is the most interesting and fluent soloist I think I've ever seen.

Matteo Mancuso is almost too good to be true. And it don't seems like anybody can grasp how good he is. He incorporate all the colors from jazz in a extremely musical way. I haven't been this impressed by anyone since early 80 's when I heard Frank Gambale for the first time. But this guy actually impress me even more. Incredibly.

Seeing this and also the excellent semi-finals from the Herbie Hancock Jazz University I had wonderful thought: Jazz is Safe. The music has been handed off to a new generation and they have both embraced the music of the past but also made it their own. I hear exciting new directions and possibilities emerging in a music based on, precision, on freedom and, most importantly, on feeling. Jazz Lives!

Matteo, simply a superior mind. Everything starts from the brain. Technique, musical creative ideas, phrasing, musicality and more are direct consequences. First of all, he has an incredible head, that's what I think. In every musical genre his performance is the top.
You are an utter joy to listen to. I get every note like a revelation of absolute perfection. And this goes for all three of you. You give "trio" a fourthe dimension - that's just words, your music is playfully gorgeous in too may ways, really!
