Compilation showing some of the first guys that ever hit below 13's in the 1/4 mile with only bolt ons and drag tires, as well as a few others that ran well also. Couldn't add all timeslips because not everyone had one, but all of these cars and people have been verified by another person(witness) or have shown timeslips. Most points of reference and proof are from the Cyclone Mustang Groups on Facebook.

Mods are too long to list for every car, ask in the comments and I'll try and fill you in.
Times shown in captions during the slot of each car are the fastest times for those cars, not the time it ran in the video.
Only clip of a car spraying in the video is the white one, but the N/A time was done on motor. None of these cars used nitrous for the times shown. Good DA, driving, and the right mods is what makes these cars move.
There are alot of other 3.7 Mustangs that run just as well out there. This video does not represent all of the fastest N/A 3.7 mustangs, only some. Those of which being people I know and have verified their times. These are just a handful of the many 3.7 Mustangs running these kinds of times out there, and my respect goes out to all the others that have.

You should see what people are doing with the 6g75 from mitsubishi! Look up el yadiel all motor, thats a beats v6
@@popanda3652yeah but it wasn't be the same if that engine was in a heavy mustang. That V6 you mentioned is fast because it's in a gutted tin can.
@@TheBb6prelude no replacment for displacement man. The 3.7 in these mustangs is also 7 or 8 years newer. The 6g75 in El yadiel is fast becasue they put a shit ton of work into it. Some of that work was chasis yes, but very little. Its not hard to make a chassis light. It is however very impressive to make modifications and tunes that have never been made before. And by an unsponsored group no less. These mustangs are cool, the point i was making is that there are more impressive builds the deeper you go. I don't assume things about builds I don't understand. But the 3.7l mustang engine and the 3.8l from the eclipse ive been piston deep in. And these 3.7s in THIS video haven t been pushed near as far as El yadiels engine has.
wtf. I ran a 11.4 with a procharger. If they are running this with n/a I need to reevaluate life. lol

+3Seven Stang Vids I know right. was pounding out 1.8 60 fts all day then it got little cooler at night and conditions were perfect. dropped a 1.6 and 11.4 at 130. About shit myself.

I’d just like to get in the high 12 low 13 range then may put a little spray on it or possibly when funds are right put on a centrifugal super charger. How much power can the stock internals hold?

I know this a old video thanks for representing the 3.7. I finally broke into 12s in my 12 auto. Watched one of your videos saying a circle d convertor was a must. Fastest fbo 1/4 was 13.3@106. after circle d 3c convertor I hit consistent 12.8s@107 Fastest enough for me. I don't really track race. The look on a newer coyote/hemi/LS car face when I stall up to 3600-3800rpm and leave off the light.

mine did it in about 4.1 seconds on drag radials at the track, launching at 6k rpm slipping the clutch.

Gotta be alot of these engines in wrecked rental cars. My 3100 lb ranger would scoot with a 3.7 swap. gotta be cheaper than a 5.0 swap.
TheeJoeyLee a lot cheaper, you can get a 1st gen coyote for 6k I'm assuming half that for a 3.7 maybe even cheaper

very nice car. i have a mca in graber blue, long tube headers,flowmaster,3.73,barton shifters,jlt cai, accel,bbk tr body, araid spacer and bama custom tune, and exp. pilot, ran 12.49 1/4.

Also no ported intakes and did you have sny suspension? I had more than that on mine and could barely break into the 12's while almost ripping my shifter into a million pieces
dump Bama and get Mpt way better I was full bolt ons with nitrous running 13.0 and 13.2 with Street tires no traction what so ever
I think when someone has deep enough pockets to actually build a V6, we could very well see one break solidly into the 11s all motor. I'm thinking ported heads and a 4.0 stroker kit.

How do they get the rear to jerk down and the front to lift so quick like that, is it a quick switch between neutral to gear or is it leaving foot on brake and pedal then release brake ?
these are mostly manual cars. leaving at 6k rpm and dumping the clutch

Negative 1000 DA. some of the best air you can run a car in. He's on lowering springs, slicks, shorty headers, o/r x pipe, Peterson intakes upper/lower, MPT tune, some additional rear suspension its a 6spd manual with 3.73's

Why do the 6r80s sound like they slide into gear even with the tune stratagies adjusted?
They dont seem to ever be on point like c4s and turbo 400s you cam clearly hear them slush into the next gear in these runs.
i have a 12 3.7 with pype bombs exhaust k&n intake, no cats, 93 tune I wonder what I would run the quarter in??? never took her to the strip

If it's a 6MT, change to 4.10 gears. You won't regret it when you feel the acceleration difference. Get 3.73 if you're more of a street racer, I wouldn't recommend 4.10s for rolls. With the linear power curve of a procharger, shorter gears can only benefit you. From experience, in a 6MT 4.10 gears aren't bad to daily at all.

I wish ford wouldn't have put such crappy driveshafts in these otherwise theyd be fairly capable cars stock
driveshaft doesnt affect stock performance hardly at all. the only reason the car has a top speed limit of 112 is because of the tires that the base models came with. They can't sell a car that has a higher top speed than the speed rating of the tires.
@@3SevenStangVids gotcha, ive heard that if you go over 130mph it can pole vault it and I've also heard that accelerating too fast from a stop can cause it to do the same and that's why there's a lag when you floor it from a stop and I wasn't sure if that was true or not because everybody goes back and fourth on the forums and facebook groups but you have pretty good first-hand experience so if what you're sayings true you may have just saved me $700 because I was holding off on doing gears or really anything else until i got that replaced.

mine would have been about a 12.7 if i ever got new tires on before i sold it but it was longtubes, offroad midpipe, 3.73's, lower control arms, ported intake manifolds and its MPT tuned
We don't change pulleys on these cars
That pretty damn insane for what it is. I've outrun many of these cars with minor bolt ons with my GTI. But 12.x's is pretty damn crazy

In the video only the white one was on spray, but his 12.5 run didnt have video and he was on motor for that one. Hes actually the owner of TB Built Performance, and his lady drives the car.

At this power level it's because you are able to launch at a much higher RPM in a manual vs a auto even with a trans brake and stall converter. However once you get into the boosted cyclones all the fastest ones are autos.
Fastest boosted manual right now i beleive is about 11.5-11.7 .
and that manual actually just blew up a few weeks ago because he turned the boost too high lol
