This is, absolutely the best program on TH-cam. Dan works a full time job during the day and still puts out more content than anyone else. He spends the time, actually working, instead of talking. He Danielle are the best.
Dan! Daniel my brother! You're a Saint, I swear. Ignore the dummies that complain. As much as I like Camaros, I'd rather watch you work on a car you'll keep, but I'm still watching, ain't I? Anyways, just letting you know, I'm still here. Yes, I still have cancer, but I'm still alive. Thanks for entertaining me FOR FREE!! .. You and Danielle are the best. I love you both. ❤ God Bless Dan and Danielle! ✝️🙏
Most people don't know what kind of time actually goes into a "restoration" and let's face it. If you're putting a car on a rotisserie you're probably planning on going way over factory with it anyway. This car is going to make somebody really happy. It's going to be a kickass daily that they can enjoy driving the crap out of.💯
I'm not going to criticize anything you are doing, because this car will be back on the road and provide the next owner with years of enjoyment. I'm confident you aren't going to hose anyone on the price, having seen the work it took just to be drivable. Your skills and time are valuable even if folks kid you. Glad to see one more car back on the road.
I enjoyed your evaluation of previous owner’s bodywork. Fixing it makes sense. It’s a ‘68 Camaro. It’s worth the time. Your repairs are effective. You know what you are doing…The discerning eye. You are not a hack. Thanks for sharing boss.
Dan, you seem happiest challenging your skills with practically basket case auto projects. Once you get them respectable, you're like, time to move on. Your obsession is great entertainment. Love your videos, always something new.
Looks more like a fun hot rod every day Dan. And I can tell you, your welds are as good or better than lots of factory spotwelds. Keep up the good work!
🇺🇸👍 I think you have done a fine job with your welds. I don’t see any of the complainers over there showing you how it should be done to there standards!!!
TH-cam is a great place to push nonsense... but in the real world, the facts are still facts... Dan your approach and action to prepare cars is what most watchers would like to be able to do but can not. Good on you for stepping on the toes of talkers who can not do the PERFECT JOB but try to teardown what you are doing!
I’m a machinist not a welder, you are doing great. I did oxy acetylene welding back in the day and I’m going to learn Mig some day , in the mean time i watch welding videos on TH-cam and enjoy my retirement. And watching you save old cars from the crusher is the best pastime of all.
I love this car Dan, and you always do the hard work so the next guy just has to do the finishing work the way he wants. Most people don't have the knowledge, equipment or intestinal fortitude to do the hard stuff. Really great job!
You told us in the first 30 seconds your secret to being a TH-cam success, even though you had a rough day, your still in there putting a video together for the channel. Thanks Dan!
If I said it once I said it a thousand times. Dan saves them from the shredder and who ever buys it from Dan can pretty it up in their own fashion. It sounds like kids commenting on Dan's work, whom don't have the experience to fully comprehend the process from the grave to the cradle!
Doing a great job Dan, these cars are better than when you bought them ..there ready to drive and like you always say the new owner can take it to the next level..tell Daniel I'm enjoying my DD shop shirt
I think those people who complain about the way YOU fix YOUR car probably have no life. They hate themselves so much they have to leave a negative comment to try make you feel miserable too. Keep up the great work and just ignore the haters 👍
I appreciate that Dan gives a fair assessment of the work done by the previous owner. Some good, some not quite at his standards so .. he will just fix it for the next owner. I would not have a problem buying a car Dan put together. 🇨🇦
Keep the video's going with norm good job, please don't think about what people think, because alot of people can't do what you do,when you hear you say what you hear about what people say,it sounds ruff when you hear it coming from you in the videos, you all are alot better then that, keep up the good work.
I'd say your doing a mighty mint job on this one. Spot welds, seem welds even took the self tappers out, plus your saving it from a grave. Keep up the good work Dan the man
Plug welds are stronger then spot welds, so even the worse hackery will end up stronger then the factories hackery ;) .. keep on saving them, the haters online watch too many Barnie Jeffersons auctions on TV. They don't understand how you're bringing cars that 1% of people can work with up to an area where more like 50-75% of people could take it from and that's truly what "saving" these cars are all about.
My grandpa used to say, If you don’t weld well, weld a lot. He also explained that if you weld a lot eventually you will weld well. It doesn’t have to be pretty, it just has to be functional. I honestly love all the rejuvenation videos. I don’t call them restoration videos, because you are making it so it’s safe, functional and able to go have some fun with. If you totally restore something you don’t want to do that with it anymore and it just sits. That’s not good for anything at that point other than trying to get your money back out of it and really won’t ever happen unless it’s a Barrett Jackson Quality Restoration.
Dan a restoration you have to take it apart ,inventory everything, have the metal dipped ,see what’s left ,cut apart bad metal ,replace metal put it in a rotisserie to make it perfect. That would be a numbers matching car maybe. The modified cars are now worth a lot. Dan you are making a solid running and driving car (that will be on the road) for the next guy for a decent price. Have a good day
If the bottom of the quarter panel isn't going flush at the lower rocker is because the quarter flange that sits on the rocker needs a notch cut out where it meets the outer wheel house. Behind the flange there is a spot on the wheel house that has a slight factory notch in it the replacement quarter panel on the lower flange needs to be notched ,so you are able to push the quarter panel flush to the lower rocker.
Don't worry about what people say. Apparently they like it because they are watching you..They just pissed because there not doing what you do..F them keep doing what you do love the Chanel.
I watch another channel, the name of which shall remain undisclosed, go from a avg guy build to a 30-40K cash magnet. That channel has never returned to it's roots and features builds with and endless supply of sponsored parts and I assume a fair amount cash in the mix. Don't ever change.
Fukem All Dan , I think yer doin a great back yard job to sell someone will get a car with lots of the suckey stuff done , like ya said ,Mbundu a better car , but a first time gen 1 Camaro buyer with limited funds car is a perfect starter car , great job.

Beautiful day to work on a rig! 😊 Mines on hold for vacation time! It would be nice if I were driving a 68 Camaro across the Country, maybe next year! 😅
We used to get those 5-gallon buckets of seam sealer came with a brush you can just clean it up and some lacquer thinner but they had gallon cans too it looks just like factory use a brush on it just be sure to clean your brush off. I don't know if they got the dollar store in Canada I'm sure they do but nothing's a dollar
I wouldn’t be ashamed of your work at all it’s better than 90% of what’s on the road anyway. You’re taking the extra steps to make it safer which puts you ahead of everyone else. Nice work. ( just don’t put cragars on it) 🤣🤣
Well your making improvements to how it was before.not everyone has the budget to spend a fortune making a show car sometimes just getting them running is a fun project then take it for a spin..
The difference between a good welder and a bad welder is a good welder can hide their own mistakes lol 😂. Little sealer, little paint, make a welder what he ain't. Hahahahaha Keep it going Dan and Danielle love all the content and pod cast!

Danielle does a excellent job on the camera, That helps a lot and you have better sound than most lube tubes
Ditto on Danielle's camera skills.👍
Thanks!
Fantastic content Dan and Danni.
i was a welder for 55 yrs, those welds are fine
Really I could weld better drunk haha😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@redwinstead7873 they just look better drunk....

The man didn’t say excellent, he said fine. As in adequate.
Doing a fine job I think. The only concern is the rust on the inside of the metal that is well together.
Lots of solid metal work on the back of the Camaro. Nice job, Dan. Cheers!! 😎
The way you’re doing this car is just how I would do it. Whoever buys it will get a great deal.
